Are we unusual?

We have been in the lifestyle for 9 years off and on but the more we read and talk to couples on here we seem to be a little different to most or so it seems.

We like to get to know people well before playing and hopefully make friendships along the way, we have lots of friends in the lifestyle as a result and some of them we have never played with as they are not our type sexually but value their friendship, others we play with regularly.

Are there others on here that share our approach or are we in a minority?

We are totally new to this and looking for fun but would value making a genuine friendship over just the sexual side. That may come later but at the end of the day, sex is just sex but friends last

This is exactly how we like to be, we love to have swinging friends, even once we don't play with, it's just nice to know others in the same lifestyle

same here, we are the same, enjoy all sides of the lifestyle but just being able to get on and be able to talk about anything as such. it can all go one way or all ways or no ways at the end of the day.

Everyone is unusual, that's what makes us individuals. From what you've said you'll find a lot of people who are similar to you though.

We too are just the same we value the friendship and well if there is naughtiness then that's very good too but like you we have lots of friends in the swinging world we have never played with but at the same time would do anything we could for. some times life is about more than just a shag xxxxxxx

We definately share your approach. We have a great circle of swinging friends, some we play with some we don't.

We do however also enjoy some spontaneous fun at clubs. But have to know people for a private meet x

We have been swinging for about 35 years and have a circle of people we know but would not class them as our friends with the exception of one single man.

In much the same way as we do not class those we meet at work as friends.

We swing to enjoy sex with others as a result any relationship with them is sexual rather than social.
