This is my first post on here so does that make me a forum virgin??

Been chatting to my Dom this evening and it got me wondering.

I've had a couple of Dom relationships over the past couple of years. I know what I think makes a Dom a good one but what do my fellow subs think???

And all you Doms out there .... no cheating and telling your subs what to say!!

When I had one , it was that he adored me .

I don't want another . Yes I like an alpha male but that's it now

Up on them there hills

It sometimes appears a one sided relationship,

I suspect it's not.

Damn a wrong perspective,,,,

Bristol

what makes a good Dom?

listening, knowing whats going on with the sub by their voice, posture....ability to adapt to a changing situation

caring about what he is doing and taking pride in it.

ultimately ensuring everything is done safely and responsibly

I think the best ones are. If there's communication and trust then both parties can get what they want. Trust is the most important thing.

Someone who learns and understands your body, and your limits. A person you trust immensely. And lastly, must enjoy domination as much as you enjoy submission x Jas

Pushing boundaries, knows when something is wrong, supports you emotionally, finds what you like and dislike, pays attention to your reactions during riskier play, introduces new things to you, socialises, discusses the lifestyle and feelings.

Not all Doms are the same but the one I knew could be different things to me.

Totally agree - I'm with my second Dom. I feel so much safer with him than with my first - and that's allowed me to expand my boundaries.

That's good. I haven't found anyone else to make that commitment to yet. Trust is the big thing and not something I find easy to do.
