"I think the best way to veiw it is....if the pics on a profile makes you think "yeah I like ", then what does it matter what they describe themselves with Good point, however alot of profiles don't have pics, I might start telling people how 'fabulous, my cock is " I won't ask the obvious question It is all subjective as you have probably gathered, the only thing you can do is ask for pics if they havn't got any, then you can make your mind up wether what you see is fabulous or not. I don't know what people think when they pick it, but fabulous can be slim or big in my opinion....it sounds like whoever picks it has a lot of confidence, which for me is a sexy trait.

" its all about taste, some men think big ladies are fabulous and who ate you to question that " It is indeed, but this is extraneous to the main point. These men (women also) would like this body type if you called it "Dorito" or "ipod". The fact that society has felt the need to attribute a positive word to an unhealthy state to placate those in that state (and it is the health point which is a turn off to me, not the visual) instead of suggesting maybe they do something, is quite negative.

To be healthy? To live longer? To have a better standard of living? Sorry, it's nothing to do with society - no matter how you deny it, any medical professional will tell you that to be obese (because I think this thread is about the far end of weight) is a bad thing, no matter how much you like it. It's like smoking. You know it kills you, but so many still do it.

"There is a bloody big difference between being BIG and being OBESE..... " I think you'll find that with the medical definitions there is not that much difference. I'm with SocialDisaster on this. It's harsh but mtost (and I accept that in a minority of instances it is medical before I get shot down) people are overweight because they eat too much and/or exercise too little. How that adds to anybody's quality of life is beyond me.

Lots who are really overweight go on diets and maybe take 1 or 2 stone off and come off put 2/3 back .. thay get so down about it all and feel its out of there control at times ... loads of things make people eat maybe unhappy Depressied feeling of not good enough and some just love food and happy just how thay are its there life.

I am big because I don't exercise and, although I'm not eating take away every night I perhaps don't have the best diet in the world. Social disaster it is a terrible thibg that you went through watching your mother suffer however, as with smokers etc the facts are out there audit is everyone's choice whether they want to be big or not. I could claim part of my obesity is ad a result of having PCOS as that will cause you to put down a lot of 'brown fat' which is harder to shift than normal sub cutaneous fat but I don't as I know it is purely a fact that I am not willing to change my lifestyle to lose weight. How does it add to my quality if life? Well I don't think that is something anyone other than myself can answer really. Am I happy, most of the time yes. Can I get about and do.stuff independently, yes. The only thing being obese had stopped me from doing over the years is going on Rita at alton towers

Not only fat people have health problems. Thin does not eqaul fit and healthy. High cholesterol levels can be found in very thin people too as can diabetes, kidney disease and a startling trend amongst young thin smoking, binge drinkers is a a rise in the number of organ transplants in their mid to late twenties. Especially amongst young women. Health is determined on the whole by your genes. If you have a family history of a particular disease its best not to aggravate that predisposition by wreckless self health care. My family trait is a tendency towards middle aged spread, but we have suffered no young deaths in the family and I still have on parent one grandma and great aunts and uncles alive in their eighties and nineties. Middle age is unavoidable and if you have always had good eating habits, and a healthy lifestyle your body can cope with extra pounds. If individuals have always eaten badly and been unfit from a very young age then they will not cope with middle aged spread in later life - thats if they get to middle age. I find it amusing when those in their peak of life/youthfullness tell older people how it is. You can't know what the future has in store for your health and body shape in later life. I will not be swayed from the viewpoint that some people find fat people ugly and like to bring them down because of this. I can name at least a dozen fit healthy athletes who died at a very young age. Life is what we strive for but not at any cost by thinking I can only have a decent life if I am thin. To be perfectly honest I felt less self confident when I was a skinny slip of a lass and much less sexy than I do now.

"These threads always surprise me. Why do people feel the need to justify their existance to others?!! Some people obviously have issues, and perhaps they should look for help themselves in dealing with it instead of foisting their negativity onto others. " These types of posts never surprise me but I wonder what a forum would be like if it didn't have the plethora and diversity of everyones opinions hang ups limitations and boundaries experiences and anecdotes contributed for debate. I suspect it would be like a day in the life of a Vulcan

Where do you draw the line exactly? " even those most of these people will have paid into the NHS all of their working lifes we'll take ya money but you cant have anything back

Actually on a serious note i do empathise with you compleatly My dad was an alcoholic and it killed him in the end, i hated drink and everyone who drank for many years, because i knew the devistation it causes to people's lifes and their familys Much the same way as you dont like people being big because it still brings back bad memories of your mother But what we have to understand is we're not here to save the world if people want to drink they will, if people want to eat they will We just have to look after ourselves

Our loved ones demise will register with us all no matter which way this happens, same as ours will affect our loved ones. But can we control others or others control us. Love is unconditional and willnot be withdrawn because of the packaging. Strangers telling us they think we're not up to their personal perception of what constitutes a worthwhile life..... pffffttt. Jog on.

"Well the last time I looked in the english dictionary the word fabulous means remarkable, magnificant, extraordinary, so if someone describes their figure in this way it means they are very happy and confident in their shape and believe it to be, well fabulous, and good luck to them. Fabulous does not mean fat, as fab isa shortened word for fabulous, is this site just for fat swingers then? " You're so lateral it's refreshing xxx

"I know it's not difficult but I am getting a bit confused about the body type term 'fabulous ' on here, what does it mean, is it fat or slim ??" The dictionary says fabulous means a person or thing known about only through myths and legends. In other words, there's a good chance that its untrue, even more so were someones description of their figure is concerned! R XX
