We went to two shropshire beauty spots with another cpl ,pontesford hill and haughmond hill both wooded areas .

Lovely experience, but take a picnic blanket with a nylon backing and use Deet, especially if you are anywhere near water: a meet in Killarney years ago was spoiled by the fact that the mozxies loved all that exposed fresh skin.

Had a meet in a local forest when I went back home to see family one Christmas.
