How many are looking forward to our little Darlings going back to school so we can get 6 weeks of frustrations out of our systems?

September last year was a busy month for meets ..

Yeah this! The trains have been lovely and quiet of a morning. Some of us have to go to work during the day anyway.

It means I have to go back to work. I've enjoyed the six weeks off.

Wouldn't have minded you being my teacher. Doubt I'd have been able to concentrate much. X

I was out with my daughter yesterday having our nails done: she gets married on Sunday. I said to her remember we used to come here every August for your school uniform: the shop was still there.

Don't wish away the time from your kids folks, there'll always be strangers to fuck!

Noooooo......I'm not looking forward to Monday when they go back. I like the non urgency, carefree days & not having to rush around like a blue arse fly everyday. plus I take my main holiday so it's time off work too

No.

I've enjoyed spending more time with them. Only have 1 or 2 6 week holiday left, they grow up far too quickly.

Yeah I'm ready for them to go back to school - because I think they're ready for the routine of the school day again - and I'm skint after our holidays so no more money left in the 'days out' pot! We've had a great time though - and I intend to make the most of the last few days of the holidays! The whole point of fab, for me and many other parents I think, is that you can pick it up and put it down to suit your family life!

Have to agree, have enjoyed the traffic being a bit quieter in the mornings on the way to work during the school holidays. When schools start back again traffic seems chaotic.

Yep. Grinding local traffic to a crawl. 4x4 with mum and child in the car. .

How poignant, it's like a swingers version of abba's 'slipping through my fingers'
