clubs are ok, don't be scared of going to them. do some research on which clubs would be best for you.

try socials to ease you in maybe? when you take the pressure off ti have sex it becomes a whole lot less scary.

of course most people are after sex on here but they're very open to having a first meet in a public place for their own safety.

Go to a social. If you look around the site you'll find a meets section and at the social you can chat to people. That way you don't have to send a message.

people won't meet you if they are not interested in sex with you. i'm not saying people will definitely have sex with you, and some are open to chatting on here as freinds only, but if they want to meet then they are interested in you and probably do want sex at some point.

you don't need to ask them for sex, you just need to treat people like they are people, read their profile then you'll know if the person is into the same things you are, have a profile of your own so people can read it and see if you're compatible, chat for a bit then if things seem to be going well offer to meet them for coffee.

no pressure for either of you to have sex so it's not as scary.
