Well after seeing how difficult it seems with other male site users reactions to what seems like a game of chance waiting, I'm wondering if it's maybe best for a man using the sight to just hang on in there and not make first contact and let the women of the site do the first contacting if there are at all interested or intrigued enough to bury the long tradition of waiting for a bloke to make that all important first step at communication ? I'm setting a test to see just how many women are willing and able to take a leap out of normal procedure and give me a hello and tell me something about themselves in message.

Its an option.

But when people are asking for advice on their profile, many of the replies is that it needs to stand out. Just sitting there hoping someone will find you and then message you, isn't exactly standing out, is it?

In my opionion you will be waiting for a long time.

The users of this site make it what it is, and from my perspective its expected of men to make a nusance of themselfs messaging women and couples to meet. If you don't play the lottery you can't win it, and it might be the same here.

Think about life in general, you need to be proactive, if you just wait for opportunities to present themselves you won't get many.

I am very intrigued by the different amounts of mixed opinions and it really does broaden so many new different views, i guess all i can do is just wait and see, im in no urgent rush and time may just be on my side aswell as who ever pays interest and gives me a simple but very intriguing hello and what evercthey do feel they would like to tell me about themselves that maybe is not on there profile

OP this approach can work if your proactive in the forums but you must stay away from sycophantic behaviour and be true to yourself as a man with every post you make on every topic you find interesting .

if you couple that with only a few messages targeted at women or couples who you feel you are a clear fit for based off of their profile it will work.

you wont be bed hopping nor will you be trying to with this approach.

but it will work most approaches to you will be in the form of a wink more than in the form of a message . although you will get the odd message to from time to time .

this approach is very similar to how i use sites like this one and others .

i can used sites in this way because I'm not desperate for sex nor am i frustrated because I'm not getting any.

it helps if that is the case as you feel no pressure to make being here work for you .

its a case if fun comes along great if it doesn't that's ok to because the pursuit of fun although important is just not that important.

i reactivated my profile around a month or two ago I've been messaged 6 times since then had three socials .

don't let the fact i only have one verify fall you i choose not do them for others for reasons I'm not going into here and i ask them not to verify me for the same reasons i don't them.

I have been on this site for years off and on - a long time with my first wife and over two years with fem FB - at that time we got inundated with men pestering for sex meets and lots were dead rude/crude in their approach........a lesson I took with me now I play alone .....always be polite - no means no - and people have their own reasons as to why they don't click/like the look of you.......most of all, don't take rejection badly .......its a sex dating/swingers site, us men out number the women on here by a the 1000's

Add into that equation Bisexual men like me stand even less of a chance....but no complaints from me , I have my regular meets from the past...

For the kind of person you are looking for, as in not a quick hook-up I think you are silly to take yourself out of the game, if you don't put your hand up you don't get to ask the teacher. Think about it, there are various other factors you haven't thought over. If you are standing back and not sending messages you would be better to be highly verified with fantastic profile and a clear picture. I have had a few messages fro people that are interested from forum posts and from reading my profile. I decided not to post a profile picture, yes I have hobbled myself but for me in the end it's worth it. I am not here for just sex and the meets tend to go better as I get what I want on more levels. My advice is: Send good mail to those that fit your type exactly. Stay visible, post on forums and such. Go out socially too, getting out in real life is something men just turn off when they get on this site. Stick to your guns.
