Hi not been on this site long but was horrified to find a bi fem I had contacted about a possible meet was a 'proffessional' lol. She even sent me a link to a website where she advertised her services, adultwork. What horrifed me more is that I reported her but she is still on here. Are these people not giving genuine people a bad name??

Anyone encountered this before??

What about soliciting business in cleverly disguised emails. I reported one of these blokes earlier this week and he's still on site too. He told me to go to a escort agency he uses - choose a girl and then he could join us both in a hotel room he was paying for. If that isnt soliciting and promoting I dont know what is. Im not even bisexual what would I know about choosing a girl?

My biggest concern was that she was advertising 'bare back' sex. She could be sleeping with numerous guys daily without protection. I know people should always use protection when playing on fab but a condom doesnt protect against everything.

She didnt directly ask me for money but did direct me to her 'profile' on adult work when I asked a little about her. I think this is obviously soliciting. Cant believe fab have done nothing. If she was on here as a swinger then why direct me to her 'office' lol.

I am going to past Admins answer to what they do with reports, as you can see it can be dealt with a number of ways.

As HPC said though, as long as people are not advertising their trade or asking for money then they can have a fab account like the rest of us.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

Ive given you my opinion on a subject that comes up quite a lot on here,Ive also given you the advice that admin would give you which is report the profile

If she specifically asked you for £100 per hr of her time and there is evidence of that then she would'nt still be on the site as admin would have dealt with it

As it stands all she did was direct you to her site

Reporting the profile and saying "this women is a sex worker, she shouldn't be on Fab" ... is quite difficult for Admin to rule on (cuz as someone said, sex workers can be swingers in their time-off).

However, if you can show Admin an email chain where you were chatty/invited her for coffee but then she replied with nothing but her sex worker site ....it would be a lot easier for Admin to rule that she is using Fab to advertise.

However, there's a grey area in between.... if her reply was friendly and chatty "in answer to your question about my job, I'm a sex worker, have a look!" then Admin will probably wait for more complaints from other members before taking any action.

In any event, it's good that you found out she wasn't the kind of person you're looking for, before you wasted time on that coffee

Why does this person need naming and shaming? As far as I can tell from what has been written, the whole discussion is about being directed to a certain website which shows what she does for a job.

However, we will never know why the person did what they did, as they have no right to reply in case Admin deems it as promoting themselves.

Catch 22 for all escorts and sex workers on the site - can have numerous threads banging on about escorts being on the site but not one of them can answer or defend themselves without the prospect of being banned.

There is nothing wrong with telling people what you do for ajob, whatever that is, but if you are sending them to a website where they work from I would say that is promoting.

Lets face it, if someone worked in Asda they wouldn't send a link to the Asda website if a person asked.

I would report the PM.

As for people defending themselves or not being allowed to...that isn't quite true. But if people constantly mention they are an escort then that would look like you are promoting.
