Hi how do you guys/girls get over your nerves when on meets? I would love to make the first move but my nerves always get the better of me

After 3 years of swinging, we still get nervous. It's all part of the fun, butterflies going etc. It's like anything else, if your sure you want to do it, just jump in and do it. Your love it and be hooked

I rather enjoy the nerves.

It can be a little intense in the run up to a meet, but it certainly let's you know your alive.

And I think it makes the sex just that little bit better too!

When we have been lucky enough to meet a lady at a hotel

One of us will usually ask in the bar if we should take the conversation to the room

Usually if it progresses to that point either Mickey will say 'I'm getting naked, anyone like to join me?' Or I will sit next to the lady and ask if I can kiss her

We are both also nervous as are the ladies we meet so we try to be as confident as we can to put her at ease

It's always worked so far

As a single guy, confidence is key even if it's fake confidence. I find I'm pretty good at being in a room with a new couple and somehow making that 1st move even if its as awkward as saying to the woman... "So its ok to cop a feel then"

I struggle with making the first move, I do tend to warn guys and they tend to make the first move instead.

I am trying to get over my nerves so I at least try to make it obvious I'm not put off and I am interested in going further by doing things like sitting closer and/or touching while we chat. Or, if chatting online beforehand is going well, I make the comment that I can just wear my dressing gown when they come over, then that's technically the first move and we just go straight to my bedroom

It's daft really as once I'm naked I'm fine

I used to get very nervous when meeting people online but now I take it in my stride.. the more meets you have the easier it gets

i just go for it if i can tell the guy likes me and i like him, i lean in for a snog.

i tend to go for shy guys anyway so have to do this with most of my meets.

I always gethought pre meet nerves and butterflies on the morning of my coffee morning parties, especially if any new guests are coming. Once the first guest arrives and the kettle is on, the butterflies are receding.

If I stop getting nervous excitement then it will be time for a break
