There's no obligation to meet or for a certain amount per year. That 'statistic' must be based on verifications. I'd say many do repeat meets that don't result in verifications. Also not every verification is displayed.

It wasn't statistics......they asked a question in the forums and nearly all of the females said they had no meets this year....the verifications are irrelevant x

I'm also friends with another single woman on here (met through fab) who's sole intention is to be a unicorn, she literally just meets with MF couples.

Exactly this. Tried to meet coupes but had various disastrous experiences. Abuse from one of the male halves so put a stop to it. Never had any trouble with single guys ever. So that's what I'm only here for now.
