decline of dogging

is every area seeing a decline

I'm away a few times coming up and want to try to find if anything is happening where i go but seem always to draw a blank and a few i have spoken to all say its dying...any tips?

I read that the decline's got a lot to do with the popularity of swinging clubs. We'd like to try dogging, but like yourself haven't been able to find anything so far.

Same around leeds used to be good but got too popular then the boy racers, knob heads with no respect and cops ruined it.if any cpl still go or like been watched etc pls get in touch.

Not as many places around here either getting. Its a shame as sometimes you cant beat a bit of adventure in the great outdoors

Us. So many clubs these days. I remember when people would travel huge distances to go to one in Manchester. Much more comfortable!

Not that I've done dogging or want to, but in Kent the Police regularly patrol locations used for dogging and taking action to those that re-offend.

There are some spots around here where the "Doggers" have ruined things for themselves. People parking up in quiet residential streets any time day or night. Offending families with kids, creating a noise (running engines etc..) when people are sleeping, and leaving condoms littering the street.

They are when local council's get involved and get inundated with complaints from residents and general public. I work for a council and sit in on meetings on anti-social behaviour / hate crime which this now falls under.

And what if u don't fancy them or there hygiene isn't great ?

Mainly we arrange beforehand .

If there's no one we fancy we don't play .

If hygiene isn't great there's not a chance we will go there !

I used to frequent some Birmingham-ish dogging spots back in the late 90s/early 2000s. There was certainly more cars and activity going on but gradually the police started to get more aware and entrances to areas got closed at night. Not sure there's much left any more though I sometimes see local couples on fab mention they are venturing out. Must be a little action left.

I think the Internet killed dogging off,there is no need to meet totally random strangers when you can hand pick random strangers prior to the meet.

I know the site that Gloswingers are on about and having seen them playing can vouch the location they frequent is fairly active.

That said, I also travel quite a bit and have noticed a steady decline over the past few years.

The ease of access to clubs along with some idiots and boy racers have certainly contributed to the decline.....

That said. It doesn't stop me going as after all you have to be in it, to win it
