Obviously too mesmerised. The next time I looked up I was looking directly into her eyes. Busted!

I blushed - I could feel the heat in my cheeks.

No slap nor even a ticking off came my way - instead, a knowing smile.

She held my gaze with hers for a long moment, then turned around to face the front, her bare arm just touching mine.

The next corner had everyone in the bus leaning and shifting in the usual way to compensate. The lady with the top's bum brushed against me.
