"If you saw someone on here that you knew had a partner but they were on as a single...would you tell their other half?"

Does it or would it be perfectly normal and acceptable to tell someone, "I go on a website for swingers, you know the kind of thing... all about having sex with strangers. Oh and guess what? I found your partner there."

I think most of us on here choose to be discreet enough not to tell people we know, that we are in fact swingers, in fear of being branded perverts or worse. Don't we?

Or is it only me who doesn't broadcast it to the community at large over the Tannoy system at Tesco?

I don't tell people we're swingers because it's none of their damn business I apply that reasoning to other people too.

I would only ever interfere in other people's relationship if I had good reason to believe that abuse was taking place, then I would consider the tannoy at Tesco

I mean really? The majority of society would consider fabs to be immoral and the people using it.

Everyone's "moral compass " differs and as long as it's legal why should it be immoral?

That term is used purely because it's the same people all the time jumping on their high horse about what is morally right.

If this thread was on the lounge this thread would be going a different way right now. Same as the "white knight" term!

It's the same as the "gushing" thread on this forum the other day. It was very refreshing to read the comments. If it had been on the lounge, within minutes it would have turned nasty with claims that everyone who does has no bladder control!!

Do you mean why wouldn't I?

My opinion is that a marriage or long term relationship is something that nobody outside of knows anything about other than what they see socially. I'm not sure how to articulate it but I know that neither of us would welcome any outside interference in our marriage unless we asked for it, simply because nobody else knows it like we do. I have no idea if my friends and acquaintances feel this way but I would pay them the courtesy of assuming that they had the same honesty that we do and keep my own counsel.

Depends who it was

If I saw my sister's husband or my brothers wife then yes I would, I don't care what anybody says about discretion I just couldnt sit back and watch somebody I love being shit on and say nothing, if they found out by another means I couldn't look them in the face knowing I knew and didn't tell them, how do you explain to them why you let it carry on

"Haha no quite the opposite! Found a single lady on here wanting discreet fun and i know she's married! I would never say anything of course, in fact I'd quite like to fuck her just wondered what everyone else thoughts were

Let me know who it is and I'll do her and let you know what she's like "

"If you saw someone on here that you knew had a partner but they were on as a single...would you tell their other half?"

No... none of my business.

No, I would how ever keep that info for the next time that person judges someone who is the same as them.

Just a little reminder, not to throw stones.

Discretion is everything on this site, the fact you've even asked this puts doubt to your ability to be discrete x

You're right, my ability to be discreet is questionable. In fact, I've just ordered a new number plate for my car, DOGG3R. And when I go for a meet at a couples house I put a huge sign in my windscreen saying "I'm nailing this mans wife"

I saw someone I knew, and it made me wonder if anyone else saw someone they knew, would they get involved or not. It was just a question. Silly woman

"Well then...

I DO know someone on THIS thread who is on here as single (man) but is married. I know his wife who I do know is unaware he's here..... Yes you!! Don't worry I won't say a thing. It's funny actually because your wife is screwing your neighbour and you haven't got a clue "

That is just completely out of order!!!!

Totally ruined the thread.

You've basically outed someone on this thread and then rubbed salt in the wound.

Think before you speak, how would you like it if someone did similar to you?

"If you saw someone on here that you knew had a partner but they were on as a single...would you tell their other half?

Does it or would it be perfectly normal and acceptable to tell someone, "I go on a website for swingers, you know the kind of thing... all about having sex with strangers. Oh and guess what? I found your partner there."

I think most of us on here choose to be discreet enough not to tell people we know, that we are in fact swingers, in fear of being branded perverts or worse. Don't we?

Or is it only me who doesn't broadcast it to the community at large over the Tannoy system at Tesco?

Simple yes or no would've been fine pal "

Is that really the best comment you can think of?

It's an open forum and the rest of the posters on here seem to be trying to have an intelligent discussion on the subject.

If you don't like the posts don't read them there's no need to knock someone for having a valid point to make.

I think my point is that I wouldn't even think about whether to tell their other half or not. As in, it wouldn't even enter my head. Apologies but since I've joined this site I have found so many morally mental people that it's having its effect lol! I've also met some brilliant and inspiring people so hey ho!

To be fair she didn't actually mention no names and she didn't tell his partner

I think it's an attempt to be funny, a spot of cheating bashing, at least I hope it is!!

No but they did tell him that his partner was cheating. It probably was an attempt at humour but it also exposed double standards i.e. your secrets safe with me but your wife's isn't.

No, and I didn't say anything even though it could have been easy. Woman posing as single who was actually my mates sister in law. It's their life, let them live it. I did however have a good look at her pics....
