disillusioned with fab

Central fife

i have become very disillusioned with fab recently, when me and my ex-partner were on fab together we had quite few excellent meets but now as a single guy on fab the meets are few and far between, seems a lot of people and couples talk a gd meet but when it comes down to it, they either come up with random excuses for no meet or suddenly decide that the meet wasn't for them, so frustrating as a single guy on fab meeting new ladies and couples and is starting to prove a nightmare, lol. think my profile is ok and will always supply pics if asked to so honestly don't know what problem is,

As you know, single males here have to make an effort to arrange meetings.

Your profile is very basic. If you were to delete the (pointless) disclaimers, it would be two short paragraphs revealing little more than you want sex. The two pictures are relatively uninspiring, too.

I don't know what you put in your messages but would hope that more effort is deployed there.

Please don't take this as over-critical. I'm sure that you are a fun and interesting guy. You do need to present those qualities.

No point moaning..

I did great on Tinder & pof and wouldn't waste my time on here if I was a single geeza.

There are absolutely loads of single here and women can literally pick and choose who they want.

The warnings are pointless. They instantly put me off a personal.

I think I may save a version of the following message somewhere to cut and paste every time someone creates this thread.

I would auto-delete your email, the second I ninja looked at your profile.

1) Your profile pic is your cock. Is that really the best thing about you? Have a cock shot, sure but balance them with plenty of others of different parts of your anatomy.

2) Get rid of those disclaimers, they mean diddly squat. Seriously. I'm pretty sure someone started that as a joke and now it has become internet truth. A disclaimer ain't gonna help you.

3) Run your profile through something like Grammarly. It takes a few seconds and will help you come across as the person you actually are. These things get noted and, best will in the world, will work against you.

4) Tell me something about you. Not that you're here for sex. We're all here for sex. It's kind of a given. So now tell me about you. Are you funny? Are you cheesy? Do you have a penchant for sleepordering pizza? Are you a pint in the pub on a Sunday afternoon or an extreme BMX-er hitting the hills? Are you both? I'm a nice, clean male says nothing.

5) For the sake of my lunch which is now fighting to get back out, take the words pee, poo and pain out of your profile. No. Now. Right now. You can tell someone that if they ask, you don't need to announce it to the world. I'm super *not* into people inserting metal hooks into the skin of my back and creating pretty ribbon corsets for my sexual gratification but I don't feel the need to tell the world because guess what? Nobody wants to know!

If you don't tell me what you're like and you don't show me what you're like, I'm...not going to know what you're like. It's not rocket science.

You'll get what you put in and what you've put in is not up to scratch. Check out the profiles of the high rated peeps and see what they have that you don't. Don't steal. Don't be that douche. But maybe appropriate a couple of techniques and ideas and make the profile your own.

Or, for a ton, I'll write one for you

(joke mods, joke!)

Please do save that. Valuable advice and could be used so frequently. Even better than, "You need patience."

Agreed, many people use the Sydney or similar things as an intelligence/gullibility filter - it will instantly bar a lot of people from going any further

Your expectations, that's what the problem is
