Yes, life's too short to waste time and messages on here come in thick and fast, if you're going to have time to chat to people that actually interest you then brutal honesty is the fairest thing for all.

If they send us face pics and we aren't attracted we simply message back that they are not our type. We have had socials where people have turned up looking nothing like their pics, stayed for a drink then made our excuses and blocked them when we got home

You have to be honest with people, it's better than stringing people along. We've done it to others and had it done to us.

That's why we ask face pics early on and make the first meet a social one.

We're always polite, no need to put the boot in or go into detail.

Well, I prefer to see what their face looks like before going to a first meet. If I like what I see, I arrange it. However, if what turns up doesn't look anything like the pic they sent me, I'm off

It's not just what they look like though .... finding someone attractive - for me anyway - is more than that. I've had a social, after seeing pics I liked, but when it came to it in reality, I just wasn't feeling it so politely said I wouldn't be taking things further. I will never *not* be honest now about fancying someone or not because when I made that mistake previously and sold myself short, I felt hugely upset, angry (at myself, not them) and really quite awful. Don't ever want to feel like that again.

Id be horrified if what turned up was nothing like the pictures.

People should be ashamed of lying just to meet a couple.

I once had a lady say she was 6ft (im quite tall at 6ft3). . So i met her and she was like 5ftZero.

When i asked why she had lied, she said she was worried i wouldnt meet her.

Suffice to say i left, no time of liars.

I agree with that, but there has to be at least some physicial attraction. Call it shallow, but I would rather someone I find nice to look at than someone who I wouldn't sleep with normally. Same when dating. You wouldn't flirt with someone you didn't find visualy unappealing

If I'm not physically attracted to them on meeting, then nothing is going you happen. I met 1 bloke socially who I thought was hot, had a lovely time, but then got a message saying I was fatter than expected and i shouldnt have played down my size, and then I was blocked. No idea why he was expecting me to be slim, he'd seen pics that clearly show I'm not, and was aware of my dress size.

But I'd rather that than meet again as he didn't fancy me.

If i met someone and there wasnt a spark id tell them how i would be told. But i dont say anything unless they ask at the time. If they message to say they wanted to see me again id say it was nice to meet you but id like to leave it there. Exception would be if they looked nothing like there pictures. Then i would just leave and tell them why. I wouldnt stay for a coffee

"Will you be honest if you do not fancy him or her on thge first meet?"

I'll chat on here, ask for a face pic if all is good arrange a coffee but if there's no hint of a spark that's as far as it goes. I usually send a polite message saying I don't wish to take it any further. No point leading people on

Meet up as you don't no someone by looks alone or even profile if don't get on face to face immediately just say sorry I don't think we would click nice to meet you.

I have did this a few times on another website which has became a joke over past year.

If someone does not find me attractive from my photos or from a social meet, I would prefer to know. A polite "sorry but I don't feel much attraction" is fine.

I took a silly "Willy Brain" risk on a couple who only had a large cleavage as their photo, and said brain was flattered that they sent the initial message.

I arrived at the pub and wasn't attracted to the lady at all. Hubby chain smoked throughout the social meet and stunk like an old ash tray.

I politely told the lady that nothing was going to happen while hubby went to the loo, thanked her for the interest and chat and left.

Got lots of messages on fab when I got home (pre mobile site, kind of dates my membership!) asking what was wrong with them!

Lesson learnt, have to see an up to date face pic before meeting!

We've politely turned a couple of single guys down when they turned up as they looked nothing like there pics,we wasn't horrible nor did we usher them out the door we had a few drinks then they left.

We would never play if there was no attraction as we are here for fun and excitement and not just to fuck anyone

I would rather be told on a meet. We all put our best pics up here at the end of the day, and sometimes we can fall short of the fantasy that is then built on them.

Not knowing whether you read the signs wrong or whether they just weren't into you is a little excruciating - a 'you're not actually my type' is just fine!

Honesty please guys and gals - I'd always do the same.

I'd expect people to look as their photos, there has to be a physical attraction. All our pics are recent.

"Will you be honest if you do not fancy him or her on thge first meet?"

Always .

Whether it's just because we are a bit fed up with fab at the moment , it seems we are doing this more often of late ,

We simply say , sorry but we don't feel a connection so thanks but we won't be taking things further .

So many seem to bear no relation to their pics , or make little or no effort to be as presentable as they should .

We would never play for the sake of it .

Yes I would out of common courtesy and decency to them as a human being but I know plenty of blokes who wouldn't

They would butter them up and fuck them even though they wouldn't ever see them again the same couple of blokes will gladly fuck any woman even those they would never be scene dead walking down the street with .

Each to there own but for me I have to be attracted to the other person because if I'm not a can't be arsed to play with them.

No point dragging it out no matter how uncomfortable I may find it. Well it's either that or get blind d*unk and shag them anyway.

I'm way too honest for my own good at times.
