I dont understand the people who are saying you have to be skinny to have a thigh gap. Im definitely curvy and have a big bum but still have the gap. Its nothing to do with size in my opinion, its just what shape you are x

I believe hip width and the angle of your femurs can have a lot to do with it.

In some ways it is similar to the coveted V-shape torso for males I guess. You're more likely to have it if you are slimmer, but there are plenty of skinny guys who don't have it, as well as some more husky gents that still do have it.
