Bringing the company you work for into disrepute is a sackable offence in many jobs.

Don't post pictures of yourself in any kind of school uniform. Don't take pictures at work. Don't meet anywhere close to your school. Don't mention it to OFSTED. Which incidentally auto corrects to fisted!

I suspect it's this clause that will get them suspended then details scoured over by extremely judgemental governors, bought up on a diet of salacious sex scandals in the newspapers of the proles.

Often fisted by OFSTED.

Just be cautious...

My sister in law is a teacher and was called into the office and questioned over a compliment a parent had made because she was seen going into a sex shop

Nothing came of it but when your looking after peoples children you are fully expected to be clean living pillow of society and many parents would not want a woman who was gang banged every weekend anywhere near their child

Also don't meet anyone too young, though 18 is legal to be on the site many lie about all sorts including age and you wouldn't want to unintentionally sleep with someone underage that looked old enough to be doing this, statutory rape is definitely an easy way to say goodbye to your job

At 15 many thought I was about 19 years old on my appearance alone then the fact I always had a very mature head on my shoulders for my age meant most didn't think twice that I'd be much younger

Teachers like some other professionals have to be careful of course. One of the problems is that they are more likely to be recognised than many others. Play well say from home! That said we have met a lot of teachers in the time we have been playing.

Same guidelines as anyone else .... although I have 'bumped into' a couple of parents at a social and got messaged on here by a colleague... just make sure you don't have any 'distinguishing pics' on your public... other than that just be careful

And enjoyyy

Do your best not to be recognisable, never synchronize your Facebook contacts, always keep a separate phone for fab contacts, only ever send face pictures via a medium that doesn't use the fab watermark, never tell anyone you're a teacher some people delight in double standards, take a leaf out of Kim Philby's book and deny even in the face of irrefutable evidence and just enjoy

Excellent advice! I always found the staff room to be a bit like a mini swingers club where everyone was at it but keeping it within the profession.

I don't see why teachers shouldn't be on fab. If they shouldn't be on fab does that mean the rest of the fab members shouldn't be allowed near children?

It's sad, but a lot of people will judge someone negatively for being sex positive. When you add a responsibility for children into the mix, there is the potential for real trouble.

So while I wouldn't care to hide what I do, if I was a teacher I would feel as though I would have to. No facepics and only swing away from home. That would be my advice. And work to change societal values by instilling liberal and openminded values in the kids

Everyone has the right to be able to do whatever the fuck they want in private, obviously everything fully consensual and legal.

It's often not the profession that makes it difficult but the parents and governors. You only need a couple of outraged parents who have the governor's ear and a teacher's position becomes untenable. It's not that long ago that gay teachers needed to keep their sexuality under wraps and in the past 15 years I know of a transgender woman teacher who found things very difficult.

People panic if someone in charge of kids appears to be outside of the accepted norm.

It's a precarious situation, there are a number of professions that fall into the category of "position of trust" which generally fall under a code of conduct too, one such code liberally covers a number of professions that fall under position of trust.

As a teacher, whilst swinging itself isn't a disciplinary offence, if found to be in breach of such code of conduct because of such activity, you could be sacked, even never allowed to teach or work in a position of trust again.

It's the risk you take and should take extra precautionary measures to protect yourself

What if you meet someone off here, then find out after they're an OFSTED inspector? (the clue would be that they grade your performance)

Oh and auto correct gave me OUSTED, not FISTED, so you obviously have kinkier software than I do.

Now this to me is wrong.

Your profession and your private life, should be separate.

Like several female teachers have been sacked, for putting up sexy pictures online.

Why should their private life be governed by their work life.

I am aware of the argument what happens if the pictures get into the hands off the students.

Two of the governors at a local school are singers. We know one of this site and one off an other site... We are pretty sure they don't know about each other...

Obviously we would never mention it to them...

So not all governors are fuddy duddies...

If you see any thread about parenting on fab you'll see how irrational parents are about children!!

Most teachers have classes of ~30 pupils and most pupils have 2 parents. In a random sample of ~60 adults, at least 1 is guaranteed to be a moron / bigot / loser with too much time on their hands.

It is what it is.

Yes I'm guessing one of the more busybody type of colleagues might see it as a way to gain favours, but I suspect most teachers wouldn't grass on a colleague, they're quite a supportive community.

I cannot comment on whether it is or is not an absoulte sackable offence but as in every job, if an employer wants to get rid of you they will and they will use any means to do so

I'm a college lecturer so have to think about who I meet tend to meet older than 25, and contact couples from the next town over more than locally.

No face pics on profile and don't send them until your sure your not sending them to the head of HR I guess would be a good rule
