I don't believe they are mutually exclusive..I think most start off with a sense of sexual adventure then it can evolve into something else.

Alot of ladies, myself included were very much surprised at all the attention. I just remember not to believe the hype.

Purely sex for me. Not bothered about Fabs, compliments and I definitely don't feel the need to be popular. I think those who crave attention on here are lacking something in their lives and it's quite sad and desperate

I joined in order to attempt fulfilling one specific sexual fantasy. I stayed because I encountered a sexual smorgasbord in the process. I've always been pretty level headed so the rest (fabs, people sometimes being appreciative) is nice and everything but has no bearing on my sense of self.

Mr N definitely only joined for the sex but he does read the forum and tell me when to put my spade down and stop digging, he also recently made a post

If either of us had joined to feel popular we would find our selves sadly disillusioned

I'm not really referring to the fabbing of pictures as such , more the human need to feel loved and wanted which they may not be experiencing out there on Civvy St .

If this is the case as F-Queen points out are you actually in danger of feeling wanted when in truth we know this place contains many a type who want to just get their leg over no matter what

I dont think their is anything wrong with the feeling of being wanted if thats what people are looking.

For me personally I need to feel a connection with the person and I know that is not for everyone and it may have a lot do with what I am looking for.

I would like to think the person that I am meeting would like to spend time with me as much as I would with them.

i have kids, so no i don't need to feel needed or loved. athough the more people who love me is nice, obviously.

i would like a relationship with someone though don't expect one with anyone off here, despite me looking for that. would just be nice if i did.

and i do fall for some guys a bit but get over it when i know it's not gonna go anywhere.

I joined a couple of weeks ago because I don't have time for a relationship, but love sex. Nothing more. However, if I'd joined a few years ago, I would've wanted affirmation. I guess I've grown up in that way. However, its not as fulfilling as I'd hoped. It's a diversion when I have time, but I'm kinda bored already... Ho hum.
