Verifications lots of them. Turn off or turn on ??

So a nice gentleman has been asking to meet me for a while.

His profile has many verifications. All very good verifications actually.

But the amount of verifications just somehow puts me off. Well over 100

Is it just me being fussy ?

Id always, always use condoms.

Would it put you off if someone met a guy with high number of verifications.

Just looking for another opinion.

Not at all because veri's can be left foe social meets not jst sexual encounters and it means he's genuine and genuine guy cant fake that many

Plus we are all here for the same reason so

I have a couple of veris and that was coz I went to a club one was a sexual encounter the other couple were jst to say they saw me do my thing in there and that I'm real

Id hate to be judged on my number so I try not to do the same to anyone else

A lot could just be social veris. If you go to an organised social you can easily get 10 or more veris in a night. The veris could also be spread over many years. Say he has been here 10 years, that is less than one a month. What is it that puts you off? Are you intimidated by his experience? Worried you will just be a notch on a bedpost? Try talking to him about it. I am sure he can put your mind at rest

I've come across this dilemma before - people being turned off by lots of verifications. Someone once told us we had too many verifications, on the basis that it represented too many sexual partners. I've always thought this was a bit strange, as surely it's normal for swingers to have multiple partners, and over a number of years that's a lot of partners.

you're entitled to be fussy, nothing wrong with that.

although there's always risks of sti i wouldn't panic too much. just keep getting yourself checked.

i've met guys who have had a lot of partners and are regulars at clubs so probably had way more partners than they've been verified by, had condoms come off inside me (happens big cocks and enthusiasm) and not got anything yet.

Would probably have been a good idea to ask his opinion on safe sex etc. I don't see how he is more likely to have an sti than someone with no veris. Someone could be fucking several people at a time bareback but if they didn't show the veris or if they met them elsewhere you would have no way of knowing. You just have to do your best to protect yourself

I find most people who are very active on the swing scene and have many many partners are very very careful with regards to safe sex, and get tested religiously. Then I've met people who have the occasional partner but don't bother getting tested because they feel they haven't taken a risk. Or you could have sex with someone who has only had a few partners, but they have been with someone who has had loads of partners.

I have a fair few verifications does it make me a bad person. Alot are social meets at partys like someone mentioned but i think it proves to others im a like able guy not a time waster reliable and obviously genuine id be very warey of arranging a meet with someone with no verifications

100 ÷ 5 = 20

On the other hand, I see FAR too many profiles that are over fussy about veris, their visibility and frequency. One couple even specified that they wouldn't respond to anyone that had concealed veris or too many close together. Oh, please, it's not as if they were the hottest couple on the site either!!

So it's reasonable to have concern about huge numbers but, I would suggest, don't be too prescriptive and fussy like the couple mentioned.

Despite it taking me NINE YEARS to get them all?

To some I am a veritable prude for that!

However you wouldn't know the time span as I don't show them all, and many of my early ones have long since left the site.... But people assume that over a tear probably isn't much over a year.....

More often than not the best sex comes when you meet people who are on the same wavelength .

We have lots of veris ( way more than most ) and find its more to do with connection than how many veris someone has .

However , it's great when our meet really knows what they are doing , and we get so much more from a meet when we can all explore and go with pushing boundaries a bit .

Oh , and for those who judge people like us for having too many - and all ours are play meets - carry on . We don't give a flying fuck about the opinions of those who judge swingers who swing !

This is an interesting post hmmm. I met a lovely (and sexy) lady a few times whilst this was relatively new to her. Once she started posting lots and lots of verifications (almost daily and all sexual meets) I found myself put off.

I think this is mostly my own problem, but I guess most of us like to feel 'special' as opposed to just one of many and I also think I might be self-conscious in terms of being compared to so many other guys which, obviously, is a self-confidence thing.

In regards to STIs; lots of verifications does NOT equal disease ridden and lots of verifications does NOT mean that they will force you to bare back with them. You do still have a choice, the number of verifications they have won't take that away from you. The number of verifications they have won't tell you whether they use protection or not.

If you talk to the person and, regardless of how many verifications they have, you don't feel comfortable meeting them then don't, simple really.

When meeting strangers for sex there will be the risk of STIs even with using condoms, it's up to you whether it's worth the risk, verifications won't won't tell you either way because they are only an inaccurate snapshot of what the person has been up to using this particular site.

Stis are out there any we all should be doing everything we can to reduce the chance of infection which includes regular gum visits and the use of protection. Like fab is any indication of the amount of sexual partners someone has. I don't see the point in getting precious over verifications tbh, but if it's something others want to use as a filter then I don't see why they shouldn't.

On the amount of anyone's veri's on a profile. If a profile aint for you for whatever reason move on, leave it there. It's as simple & mature an action as that.

Some people land with personal limits and anyone they see operating outside those they draw negative conclusion & judgment on.

The greater spotted tedious crotchety's who seemingly think everyone else should be as, function as they are. For some that's 'as they depict' too

I think that's a natural reaction bit like a club no one wants to join the club that seems to except any tom dick or harry as a member but a club that is exclusive and hard to join will always have a queue waiting and wanting to join .

I would say alot of veris shouldn't put someone off . But it does . I turned a lady down not long ago because she had over 60 . I didn't say that was the reason I politely declined .

I had 45 so i left and started a new profile for that very readon too .
