Hey everyone. I've been on the site before with 2 accounts, originally single, then as a couple and that ended so after a break I am back.

However I'm now out on here as bi curious whereas before I was down as straight and I'm being treated very differently in chat and when I exchange a few messages with people.

Does anyone else notice this? People who were fine with me before now are cool or openly hostile

unfortunatly coming out as a bi male often has this effect from what i have seen.

I guess some people find bi males off putting as other threads have become quite volatile on this subject for assorted reasons

my best advice is ignore n block the haters hun n concentrate on the people who are open to chatting n meeting an openly bi male

i for 1 commend you hun for your honesty as it give me an informed choice and i dont see labels i see people

Funny, do straight guys think anyone who is bi or gay will just dive on any cock? Or that we can't control ourselves when we see one so best keep their distance

the debates on that have been endless hun as have those on personal preference etc n thats cool we all have a right to personal choice what Gauls me is the need to be nasty bitchy n dam right horrible n hateful some people have if its not your thing then fine you have your reasons but jumping on n abusing someone for their personal choices isnt acceptable at anytime

my view is if you havent got something constructive to add to a debate without being abusive overly personal and nasty mabe keeping it buttoned

" Funny, do straight guys think anyone who is bi or gay will just dive on any cock? Or that we can't control ourselves when we see one so best keep their distance"

I think it is partly that, also partly a view that bi males are 'higher risk' when it comes to STIs etc (there are some people who won't meet girls who have met bi guys, apparently for that reason), plus unfortunately there will also just be some prejudice.

As the above poster has said, just a block and move on OP. You know your own self control and health status, you don't need to justify it to anyone else on here. And welcome to the dark side

It is inevitable that you will attract negative and positive different reactions when you decide to 'come out' and change your sexual preference...

A number of punters will have 2 or 3 profiles (couple/single bi and single straight).that way you will catch all comers..

Swingers are just sample of society in general with likes preferences and prejudices.

Enjoy your new status,it will attract different meets.

Haha exactly! Or meet girls who have met guys who claimed to be straight but actually weren't but the girl didn't know? it's not foolproof

Personally I just give those people a little giggle and carry on with my day

Yeah there's still a massive amount of homophobia surrounding bi males sadly.

When we originally signed up here, I listed as bi curious as it most accurately reflected my leanings, having some degree of attraction to some males but never having acted on it in any way.

After seeing how much hate bi men get on here, from purportedly liberal modern women, purely for their sexuality - I dropped it back to straight. Still honestly reflects what I do, I've decided not to explore that part of me until I've reached an age where it makes sense to me to give up on women, because that will be the net effect, cutting yourself out of the available pool with women since most can't see past their prejudice. Probably never going to happen really, can't see me ever thinking it's worth it.

It's a massive shame, patently unfair and hugely discriminatory. But thems the breaks.

North Herts

At the end of the day I tend to view it no differently from any other "preference" that people might list (such as "no kissing", "soft swing only" etc) and respect that persons preference whilst making an informed choice for myself as to whether I'd want to pursue that person given their preferences.

That said we have tended (so far at least) to meet people in clubs rather than via arranging meets via here, and in clubs the question rarely crops up when chatting to people before moving onto playing, so most people we have met wouldn't even know I was bi....unless it was on bi night of course!!

So perhaps clubs is something to consider OP?

Mr G
