How many of you lovely single guys would meet a couple in a club? If the meet was pre arranged. What are everyone's views on club meets, why do you choose or not choose a club. Just getting a general opinion. Happy Sunday xx

We have switched to club and party meets as when others your supposed to be meeting are no shows the night is not wasted

I have done this once to meet a special fab friend as it was the only way we could get together with our respective 'normal'lives.

It was a bit scary-my first couple and my first club meet.

We struggle to accommodate due to extended family members living with us at the moment.

We also love clubs so will often arrange a club meet if everyone is agreeable. It often means we can meet those further afield at a mutually agreeable distance, and adds the fun of hotel meets within a more open venue.

I wouldn't meet in a club for a social...firstly as a single male it can be really expensive before you even start, unless you are a member already. And it can also give expectations and distractions. When having a social either alone or with my partner I like to be able to concentrate on them fully.

We prefer club meets, however I wouldn't ask anyone to specifically come to a club as a condition of meeting them, preferring the spontaneity of meeting people.

I see it could have benefits, such as if you don't get along you can all go and still enjoy your night, however you still fun the risk of no shows, just as you would with a private meet.

Also money, for some they can't afford it or aren't willing to spend the entry fee on the off chance. For single men especially club prices can be expensive, also some clubs require membership which can have waiting lists etc.

However you can always ask, people can always say yes or no

We can't accommodate due to young family, and have been let down on meets 90% of the time! We wouldn't expect a single male to meet for a social in a club. We have had so many say they won't meet in a club which we are OK with we just have more fun in a club, I just wanted a wider opinion from everyone really. x

We started with club meets as we thought there wouldn't be any pressure or expectations for us to play, and we found we can have a good night by ourselves if we don't anyone else to play with.

Additionally we choose not to accommodate as we want to keep fab separate to our family home, but we would plan a hotel meet if we were away and the mood takes us

I'd be happy to meet in a club for a social or play. Initially I had reservations about going to a club but I'm now taking out a membership as I've had a couple of no shows and generally I think people who attend clubs are far more genuine than those that don't.

However it would be expensive if they had to join a club but the upside for a club virgin is if the cpl dont want to play at least someone has showed them the ropes...

I have no problem meeting in a club and even better if its one I have a membership in.

If it goes well great, if you decide not to play that night okay as there'll be others to meet too.

We never arrange meets in clubs we love the spontaneity of meet hence that's why we love clubs . We can go there under no pressure at all and if we see someone we like go for him

. If we don't see anyone we still always enjoy the night on a social level

Personally I think they're overpriced for single guys and yes I do know the reason behind it.

Also I would feel very awkward going to a club by myself, would have no idea what to do or where to begin.

Having paid for hotel rooms only for the guy doing a "no show" the extra costs for him really don't concern us too much.

In addition we usually have to cover the costs of a babysitter. Add the extra costs of lingerie or outfits we can end up hundreds of pounds out of pocket for a no show.

Sorry but if he is too skint to afford a club entry fee then...

As some of the other posts have mentioned it leaves us with with other options

To summarize we don't aim to add costs for a guy meeting us but equally we are definitely not aiming to be a cheap nights entertainment.

I only meet in clubs as it's the safest option as a single female. my favourite is The Unit blackpool Bitheseaside event there's one this saturday 12 till 6. I like it as it's suitable for everyone the price is ten pounds a person so no extra charging males and it's only 8 pounds before half one. My first time I was given a tour and was made to feel welcome. Would recommend if first time trying a event and defo a great safe place for meets xx

I think club meets are far safer an option for couples - whilst I can find going to a club as a single quite daunting, I can totally understand why a lot of couples prefer it. Plus if you don't get on, there's plenty more for both parties to be doing to ensure the night isn't a total waste of time
