First of all - welcome to the forums my friend. Ignore the rough initiation you got last night, and keep posting - newbs always get a disproportionately rough time especially single males for some reason.

As a general word of advice, the forums are only read by a very small subsection of the site so as well as looking on here (there is a seperate meets forum btw) it's also worth putting up a meet request so the rest of the site (ie non forum users) can also see you're looking to meet.

I don't think you got a hard time at all on that thread.

The majority said you should smile, nobody was offensive or abusive as far as I could see.

To be honest, for a thread like that, it could have been a hell of a lot worse.

I got some really good advise from people I should smile I no lol and I have read some people post on here and they have left site over the abuse lol so yes I could have been worse
