I am quite selective with my attempts at contact on here. I disagree with the 'shotgun' approach used by some (as I want to get along with any potential meet).

So if someone I've messaged hasn't seen or read it in a couple of weeks would it be acceptable to try again or would that be seen as mithering?

As a rule anyone who reads it but doesn't reply (or delete) I tend to leave alone as see that as a thanks but no thanks

we allow a few weeks before trying again and usually only with single fems as they get so many messages we feel they may get lost and unread - but generally if read and unanswered we leave it be

Ahhh thats reassuring. Don't want the tag of a pest but maybe two messages in a month when first hasn't been read isn't that bad...

But never understood the reading but not deleting if not interested? Anyway each to their own
