Scars sexy or not?

Im pretty happy with my body except that it is covered in scars from injuries in different sports and accidents. This makes me self conscious about my body because im afraid how people will react. I'd love to hear your opinion on scars?

I have one quite bad scar on my chin, I try and hide it with a bit of stubble, I'm more embarrassed about how I done it and when people notice it they always ask!... I stabbed myself in the face with a knife accidentally while at work haha

I also have breast reduction scars and while they show up well on photos in real life they aren't noticeable..even a doctor had to look twice coz they didn't believe me.

I'm not embarrassed about them.

I have a few, most prominent a diag on my forehead that runs down to the corner of my right eye from a standing in the wrong place at the wrong time barfight when a teenager :/ But it's only light now thank fuck, played merry hell with my love life when younger. Also have one on the back from an industrial accident that required eleven staples.. H Has a few too mainly from ops on her wrists & tum.. As said they tell a story of your life & are part of who you are but do not define you. xx S

Unfortunately I'm not a good healer. Was rushed back down to surgery as I developed a blood clot so they had to open me up again then developed 2 seperate infections so my scars are very noticeable but definitely don't regret having the operation x

I do have sympathy for women who have "lost" a part of themselves and all they have remaining are the scars. I also have admiration for those who can ignore or even be proud of their scars. I suppose I have one of the "good`uns" since I had a quadruple heart by-pass and have the trademark "zipper chest" scar. I also have the story of the moments up to be being diagnosed which were a bit unusual too!

That's awful! I had small infections too so now my nipples aren't circular. .I lost a bit of each one but I don't care. But i do however regret the surgery...I was young when I had it done due to sexual harassment. .if it happened now I'd punch their lights out! Lol.

I wouldn't say that I find scars sexy. However they certainly don't put me off, they are just part of the person, if that makes sense.

I've got quite a few marks on my body mainly from yo-yoing with my weight over the years. I'm quite self conscious about them, yet no one has ever mentioned them.

I think we're far more aware of them than others ever are.

I'm really attracted to people who are not your archetypal pretty boys/girls and have something different and unique about them that makes them interesting. Scars for me for, form part of this, I actually find them a turn on.

Not sure what your idea of covered is but your pics show quite a lot of you and I can't see any at all so I wouldn't worry to much about it

I wouldn't worry op! I have a two inch scar on my groin from a vascular op! It actually serves as a useful willy measuring device when I don't have the sky remote to hand!

I have a scar on my abdomen, it doesn't bother me. If it bothers someone else, it is their fault not mine.

My knees, arms are covered in scars from doing stupid things, like fall of bikes or motorbikes. Just one of those things.

I spent a year in hospital when I was 10, came out aged 11, having spinal fusion operations. My scar runs from nape of my neck to my cocyx. Saved my life and is part of me, so embrace it.
