Had a meet arranged for tonight not heard from the lady all day so guessing it's not happening

Chatted on the phone and whatsapp for weeks, even got told yesterday 'I want you' today nothing!!

Does anybody else get a huge confidence knock when this happens?

She might just be busy, changed her mind, nervous.. could be a number of reasons. If she doesn't get in touch, block and move on. X

It makes us adapt how we meet so as to avoid such disappointment. When I first started I watched, listened and learnt from others experiences and thereby adapted to suit me.

In seven years not had a no show. Some I wished had...but that's another thread.

Chalk it up to experience op and don't rely on this site to boost your confidence.

Too many people are in love with the fantasy and don't consider that they will actually have to do something on the day of the meet. Much easier to ignore the meeting, go online and wank again at the fantasy of another meeting.

What a shame OP especially with the cost is a hotel to.

I've been let down a few times but it's part of fab unfortunately. I never think they are going to show up until they are right there in front of me!!!!

This is why I only log on when I'm looking to meet. If more people would do this the time wasters would be gone.

But some people will still talk to people for months and still get let down...

It's a vicious cycle that will continue on fab until people stop the social non sense and get back to having NSA sex.

Had exactly the same happen to us. Speaking for weeks before the meet, hotel booked, even said if she had cold feet to let us know and we wouldn't be upset or take offence.

Ended well though, we still used the hotel, advertised a meet there and met a lovely couple leading to a great night.

Said it a few times here, if you have expectations you'll be disappointed, if you have no expectations, anything that does happen is a bonus and pleasant surprise

It often appears to us that the meets that you spend longest planning never happen; whereas the ones arranged at the very last minute always seem to go well. Maybe it is the lack of expectation or that time wasters love all the build up and never want to actually meet. We were let down twice at the weekend and then had a lovely meet by arranging something at the last minute.

It works because both couples log on when they were horny and ready to meet.

Time wasters tend to find every excuse not to meet . But spend hours online daily

It happens to me all the time especially from young couples who claim they are into cuckholding or new ladies and couples on the site.

They just stop replying, block you, ignore you, give shit excuse like they are on there way(one couple kept telling me all they that they were on there way for over 12 hours, and there profile said they were in Manchester.

Some couples profile, after planning a meet on the day of the meet they will tell u that 'the mrs is ill and u can meet only the fella'

Or like they are not sure they can meet when u are already on the train to meet them.

Im past letting it get to me now, but there were times i had upto 10 let downs a week.

Secret is: EVERYONE IS CLASSED AS A TIMEWASTER UNTIL YOU PROVE ME WRONG AND WE MEET.

Don't get me wrong there are some genuine people who something just came up or just decided not to meet. If they want to meet they will re-arrange but most times they are all bloody time wasters.

Mostly desperate 80 year old perveted men looking to just wank over pics lool.

Yeah it's happened to us....chatting for weeks....the female alegidly booked a hotel.....she was messaging all the time...day before we were due to meet she wasn't replying (but changed her status) and was online....next day on I'm so sorry kids weren't well....fair enough but you were online and changed your status....just for a second tho....yeah ok doll (bullshit) different variations of this has happened with several different females...extremely sceptical now x

Had the same happen to me today! Been chatting to a guy for ages on here and on kik, getting in really well and chatting on a daily basis until 2 days ago when he said couldn't wait for today!

Yes, in three years I've never had a last minute cancellation or no-show. And in response to a post further up, I've often booked a hotel for a first meet.
