Bad teeth

Met this guy on here and went out for a meal. He was very fanciable indeed looks and personality wise and we got on really well together. However I noticed he wasn't keen on big smiles and opening his mouth too wide. I jokingly mentioned that to him. He then added that his upper teeth were in a very bad state and all needed caps, crowns etc.

The question is should I meet him again? He is very keen and I like his company but.dental health has always been an important issue for me. What do others think?

It's your decision to make OP. If that's a deal breaker for you don't meet him, if you really like the guy and can see past it then just go ahead and meet him.

He sounds like he is very aware of the problem so his dental hygeine will probably be okay (teeth brushing etc), so I would say give him another go. If you get close and he does have stinky breath just make your excuses and leave.

I really hope he doesn't see this thread though. That could seriously dent his confidence

Depends what sort of relationship you want with him.

If you want him long term, then personality might be more important (and you might persuade him to get his teeth done!) but if you want him just for sex then looks might be more important.

There could be any number of reasons why he has bad teeth though, not just bad dental hygiene. He could have been had some kind of injury for example. He's obviously aware of the problem and maybe a little self conscious about it so I wouldn't cast him off just yet. x

I met a guy once he looked smart and clean then he opened his mouth an had the most hurendus teeth, his breath was foul I just couldn't kiss him that was a deal breaker for me so I had a drink and made my excuses never to meet him again

Personally my _iew is that if dentists weren't such robbing gits sucking everyone dry at every opportunity we'd all have lovely smiles.

Honestly £500 for a cap! Get fucking real.

No doubt he has issues but when his problem is considered "cosmetic" and therefore not covered by the NHS which is far too stretched funding boobjobs for latvian single mums AND assuming he hasn't got a few grand to fund the next fucking porsche aquisition i think it's safe to say he's probably a real nice bloke but toothwise...totally fucked!

I went on a date with a guy when I was 17, we were in a restaurant and when the food came, he TOOK HIS FRONT TEETH OUT and put them on the plate with the pizza

There's a difference between bad hygiene and less than perfect looking teeth.

For me the first is a big no no, but the second is not really a problem, as other have said it's soooo expensive to get fixed. I'm sure everyone would love perfect teeth if they could afford it, but as it stands most people can't.

I think my comments were misunderstood. I was actually.meaning was is the condition of teeth important when meeting someone on an intimate basis- not if I should meet him again! I am actually going to meet him but maybe.only socially in the meantime and see how it goes.

Sound's like a nice fellow but cleanliness is besides godliness...I honestly couldn't go out with someone who has teeth on them like a bag of burnt chip's... cause my chain of thought would be if his/her teeth aren't clean...what will the rest of the body be like clean or dirty??? Though that's just me...

if he has bad breath i know i wouldn't enjoy seeing him again. but if it's only cosmetic and everything else is good then why not go for it?

if you feel you can overlook his teeth then you should enjoy that.

We must admit we have a thing about people teeth and if there in a bad way we are put off meeting people.

We have come across a few people in clubs with missing front teeth or black teeth and we willnt take it further then a chat.

Mainly because one of us works within a dental practice and the other has had work to there teeth so we like to meet people with nice teeth.

We are not shallow it's just our preference.

You don't have to have teeth like your off towie just not black or missing ones.
