I don't know if it's just me or does anyone else find that on a majority of times single fems and couples will read your message then neither reply nor delete it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the reason for this?

It's not as harsh as a blunt delete and it will drop off the first page anyway in a couple of hours and then after 30 days it will delete itself!

Sometimes I just read a bunch of messages and there'll be one that stands out so I'll reply, and maybe another that looks ok so I'll go back to later. Or requires a better response than I can muster.

I always reply to messages and only ever do a bulk delete every few weeks ..

So not everyone does it..

For me it's either they've not read my profile, not my type, too young/old, message isn't attention grabbing. As for not deleting them simply cba

I've started making use of notes, If they don't reply or just delete the message I make a comment to remind myself not to send another one

We try to reply to messages because a lot of men seem to object to their messages being ignored. But i do get a bit fed up with having to think of a polite way of rejecting someone, so sometimes it's easier to hit the delete button, especially if we're getting a lot of messages.

Totally Agreed and I am sorry but I don't wish to waste my messages with someone I don't fancy.Sometimes I say no thankyou,they ask why please give me a chance! Get's on my nerves.

Dude women on here are vastly outnumbered by men, most of whom are always asking for sex or messaging them abuse for not replying to their sex request. You just need to stand out from the crowd

Personally I do my best to respond to all, but it's just not possible. If I see a message, I check the profile, if it's interesting I read the message, sometimes I'll respond. Sometimes I'd like to respond to more than I do, but there's not enough days in the week frankly! It's hard for guys here OP, you need to not take it personally and keep going, if this is for you of course.

Usually I reply to everyone even if just a polite rejection, but sone days I just think sod it and bulk delete, moody wench that I am : /

Generally it's one liners and cock photos and I think, if they can't be arsed, why should I. I'm not proud of myself though as I do value common courtesy etc

We try and reply, but some of the messages are so crass or they haven't read our profile at all and then really they don't deserve a reply.

We only ignore and delete if our profile has clearly not been read and we clearly don't match on what we're looking for

We try to reply to them all. Thankfully our phones have the predictive dictionary so after a couple of typed words this standard reply is just a few clicks away

"Hi Thanks for the interest but we're not looking for single men right now"

The people who put the effort in get a little extra that we will keep them in mind if we do

But to be honest as a couples profile nit looking for single men we still get inundated when a new pic goes up and then we tend not to reply to everyone

If they've clearly taken time to read our profile and write a half literate message then we'll reply one way or the other. If it's obviously just a 'hows U?' then it goes to file 13 straight away. Anything in between and we'll usually leave in purgatory.
