Can people read ?

Might sound a silly question but seriously can most people on here read? my thinking is yes but i might be wrong !!

My reason for this question a profile that states will not meet single males under 29 yet get bombarded with mails from people under this age limit wanting to meet...

Am I just being too sensitive or is this some malfunction in people under 29 that they seem to be able to not see the writing that states this ?

Rant over feel better now.... now to go and practice the knife throwing skills

No, you're not being sensitive, just wasting your own time!

We ALL receive messages from people outwith our preferences/criteria. Personally, I have bigger fish to fry to waste my time blowing a gasket over something as inconsequential as young men chancing their luck!

Set your filters, delete, block, the world will still turn and you'll be able to continue happily with your life.

It really is that simple!

I think people do read them, but you will always get the ones that think they are something special and your preference will not apply them, and they try their luck anyway.

Personally, I always read a profile, and respect all preferences.

everyone must be able to read,after all they managed to do their own profile,its just some dont seem to care what others have to say for themselves.delete,block n move on,i find if i answer them back i am then accused of being grumpy,nasty,obnoxious etc etc,and thats the mild comments

Yes people can read and to be honest I think it's a bit petty to ask such a silly question.

If you don't want to meet single males, use the filters that the site has provided and block messages from the aforementioned species

some times I really do not think they do, but in there defense a lot of people on hear do not abide to there own profiles if you know what I mean.

so it can be confusing.

I always make sure I read profiles and have had people message's of people about meets to find on there profile they don't meet smokers of they like sporty types rather than bbw's

Indeed, I have recently sent polite messages to two females who make a big deal on their profile about how they always reply to messages because they are so well mannered etc. etc. And of course neither could actually be arsed replying

I do not get many messages, as my deliberately long profile deters those who either can't read, or don't have the patience to read it.

And for the few messages I receive, I do not respond to those who clearly have not read my profile.

A lot struggle to read i think but strangely it doesn't stop them typing messages

So many people get steamed up over such a trivial and easily dealt with matter.

It's pathetic really, makes you wonder if this adult site is actually populated by adults or children.

You'll get the young'uns messaging you for a number of reasons, primarilly because some of them will be "blitzing" every female / couple profile without reading them...then there will be the others who can't believe that a younger stud could possibly be resisted, and then there are those who have been on here and seen other people, who say one thing on their profile (e.g. no single males) and then have a string of verifications from people who are outside of their criteria (e.g. single males), and therefore no longer believe what anyone says, and regress to blitzing every profile having read what was said and dismissed its importance.

You're absolutely right, those COULD be the reaasons...the only thing is that they aren't obviously the reasons, and perhaps, for want of a better phrase, "books get judged by their covers".
