Hi I'm a 23 year old guy, I have to say I do have a hairy chest. I often contemplate shaving it off but often decide to leave it due to the hassle of maintaining it. What is the opinion of others? Who prefers a man with a hairy chest or a guy with a smooth chest?

I often have the same debate with myself!

I did trim it all off once and I did look slimmer without it and it grew back really quickly and now looks exactly the same as it did before.

I'd say go for it, it'll be back in a few weeks anyway

I've never liked the fact my chest is hairy, been tempted to shave a few times but think it'll be more hassle than worth

They would only stink if the person had hygiene issues. Otherwise it's just the same as having hair on any other part of your body.

Complete and utter shite.

Just like having hair anywhere else on the body.As long as personal hygiene is observed I can't for the life of me imagine what draws you to this conclusion.

All of the women that I've had relations with absolutely love my chest hair.Not one has given a negative comment .

I used to be self-conscious about my hairy chest, but I wouldn't swap it for the world now.

It's "me" and I'd miss that lovely moment when a hand runs gently through it so much

I know women who hate them (there's a incredible woman in a couple here who explicitly stated how much she dislikes them), but the women who like them, really like them.

Never need to say sorry for a personal preference we all have them and should all respect that, people take everything personally when it normally isn't me personally I cant shave my chest or back cos I'm hairy from the neck down so it would have to be the lot off or id look ridiculous haha

I have a hairy chest , sometimes I get the clippers out and trim it down like mowing the lawn. One must admit when trimmed down to a say grade 4 it does make you look more younger.

For the older generation out there one used to as a kid dream of having a Persian rug just like Magnum PI
