Hi folks,

I`ve been a naturist/nudist for over 30years, but only been into this scene for just over 7 years.

Just out of curiosity I would be interested to know which came first for you? Swinger first, then a naturist or naturist then swinger?

started on nude beaches. enjoyed the attention and being watched so ended up where we are now

exactly , we have met people at clubs that wouldn't dare think of getting naked openly infront of others at a club or nude beach, with the exception of the people they play with

Other way round for us...started swinging and then shortly afterwards tried nudist beaches and nudist/naturist resorts.

Certainly some naturists also swing,but the two do not necessarily go hand in hand.

Went to a nude sauna in Cologne and got the bug for seeing around other naked people there. Swinging was a natural evolution from there!

Practically, I started using nude beaches long before I became a swinger. However, both stemmed from the same exhibitionist "urge", it was just more socially acceptable to be a "naturist" than to have NSA sex.

The above poster is absolutely correct to say that there isn't necessarily a link between swinging and naturism, but for some of us - there secretly IS a link!

Disclaimer: This post should not be read as justifying making any sexual approach to a naturist!

Im a member of a vanilla naturist club. I wouldnt dream of playing there. But did meet "swingers" in that environment. Only became a swinger myself when my ex and i both decided to expand our sex life.

Naturism came as a surprise after swinging to us. Now Naturism is more important.

The 2 do go together, but when in a naturist environment have to be very careful, we see people that we are sure are swingers but not acting on it unless somewhere like eureka.

It does make us chuckle how some swingers cover up as fast as they can, but at the end of the day we all have our comfort zones and will always respect others.

Wanted to get into the naturist scene for years but absolutely no idea where to go, I sunbathe naked all the time and have absolutely no qualms about being naked in front of people but as far as I'm aware there is nowhere in the northwest to go and be naked in naked company.

When you say the you're sure some naturists are swingers? How can you tell just looking at them? In avanilla naturist club unless someone makes it very obvious then i wouldnt be able to tell whos a swinger and who isnt.

Check out the British Naturism website. We tell you where to find clubs and beaches etc. Its a strictly vanilla organisation though.

Swinging, I'm not a naturist. Being straight and from Brighton there don't seem to be too many options. There is a nudist beach, but being in front of a notorious cottaging site, is just full gay men looking for a pick up and weird Asian tourists, fully clothed looking to cop an eye full or standing round staring at any female unlucky enough to find herself there.

I went to Bristol gardens health spa once and it was really liberating walking around, swimming and having a sauna naked. Definitely something I'd like to do more of.

When you have been a swinger for 15 years you tend to know when someone is flirting in a non vanilla way.

But you are right in a Naturist club then play does not happen.

Tbh...i dont tend to look for swinging partners in a vanilla naturist club so even if someone was flirting with my i probably wouldnt notice. I only tend to be on the lookout in a swingers club or on certain nude beaches

Naturism came first.

Before the first strip off I was very conscious of all my lumps and bumps but somehow, naked looks better than trying to hide everything inside a swimming costume.

5 mins after getting naked I felt totally free!
