To be honest its something that has never entered my head. You could easily fall for someone in the supermarket as far as im concerned. My mind seems to be pre programmed that it is emotionless sex and cant imagine thinking any differently

In answer to your question, I doubt it would happen, however, should it happen, I’d assume it’s because their lacking something from their partner

It does happen, but I wouldnt think if people were in a secure relationship..

Saying that if it happened with me then Master would be happy as long as they accepted that Master is always my number one.. but then I am allowed emotional and even romantic feelings for others as it only enhances what Master and I share..

( not happened as yet)

OP I think needs to take things slow with his other half...

ive asked wife if she is interested but she worries that one of us will for some one we meet, ive told her that im happy with her its just something we could try as a one of and see how we feel afterwards

Errr, you’re no different to others, we all have romantic / emotional feelings for others when swinging, the art is not allowing those feelings to cross the line, no reason they should, if one’s “comfortable” within their relationship

Well for a start if I was nervous about swinging and voiced my fears like your wife did, then the response, "if it happens, it happens" wouldnt do much to allay my insecurity.

This is just a guess and please correct me if Im wrong but my guess is that you opened up a single guy profile on here to seek "something extra" away from your wife. You have found that the swinging world is not millions of women gagging to have sex with you but that its fierce competition for a single guy. And you have learnt that couples seem to fair better. So have asked your wife if she will now join you in the swinging world, in the hope that you will, with her contribution, get some action. If that is correct, and your wife is asking these kind of questions, signifies to me, she isnt happy to swing.

Its just a guess though and I really hope Im wrong, I admit im a cynical old bugger.

Oh and to the OP, I wasnt pointing the finger or judging, I have no right to judge you, but just be careful in this one, if shes voicing concern and its just in conversation, seeing you pay attention to another woman and the worry you will fall for the other woman, probably will cause problems for you.

You can fall in love in the most unlikely of places, but the majority of swingers are quite happy within their own relationships and probably wouldnt be looking to run off with the male playmate

Ok, before we started playing these games I had the same thoughts. I didn't know if I could have emotionally detached sex with someone as I had only ever had sex with two people who I have had long term relationships with. Maybe your wife is thinking the same, emotional attachment goes with sex?

When it came to it, I realised I could , but the way for me to be able to carry on doing it is to not be over friendly with them...ie we don't have any contact with our meets other than to arrange meets as if I get to know people too well I wouldn't want to play anymore....not because I would be falling for them but because it takes away the almost stranger bit for me.

I know I will never be in a position to fall for anyone.

Your wife may not feel very secure that your answer is " if you go off with someone so be it" as she may think you might do the same.

I know she seems like she is warming to the idea, but I still wouldn't push her.

I haven't had any emotions for any meets as yet... I don't have to if its just sex. I rarely kiss meets, and emotions are left out, well romantic ones... I may lust after the cum and cock.

I'm allowed a full on relationship with another was what I meant... but only as part of my primary relationship.

I never get any feelings for meets... its pure sexual gratification and a way to get my thrills.

I suppose it depends what your looking for when swinging. But to have an emotional relationship would require both parties from both sets of couples to have that connection.

We are fairly new to this world of swinging and for us it has mainly been one off meetings in clubs, although we did meet the same couple twice, but that was by chance.

I'm sure for other swingers they make good friendships over the years which could create that emotional link. Emotion for me (man) would require more than simply a good shag, or seeing an attractive looking woman.

We all see sexy women every day, but it does not mean we have sudden stiring o emotion and want a deep meaningful relationship with every new woman we set our eyes on.

Which does not even take into account the womens side of this.

Nothing is impossible but I would very much think that the odds of a swinging couple, that would come across a love at first shag senario, with a member of another couple, or even a single are very very low.

Emotional relationships are more than sex, at least for me anyway, but maybe I'm weird.
