LGBT is a sexual orientation, swinging is a sexual practice.

How is somebody's sexuality the same as swinging

All because your gay, lesbian etc that does not mean you don't want monogamous relationship

Very strange question. You don't have to be LGBT to swing. You don't have to be a swinger to be LGBT.

LGBT are orientations (or on the case of trans a recognised medical diagnosis). All things a person is.

Swinging is an activity, something a person does.

Swingers might be LGBT or might be cis-gendered and straight.

I'm not so sure. I have always been happier with multiple partners than with one. Sure, I could choose to stay with one guy but I wouldn't be happy.

Obviously I haven't had years of threatened violence against me, but I do have to hide my lifestyle and desires from friends, family, and workmates.

If it is a choice then the null hypothesis has to be that non swinging, ie monogamy is the natural state for a human.

So are we all monogamous and just choose to swing, ie swinging is not normal?

Although I can't fathom why some people want to play who is the worse victim game when things go wrong for certain groups.

Would you go to a pride event and say cheer up at least your not all disabled, etc....

But I guess it's human nature to want to have a go at someone, even if it's just to say you're not as badly treated as we are.

But that's my point. I would not compare. Just seems tasteless to do so.

I can accept someone has had a shitty day at work, without resorting to comparisons of their day to some poor sod in Iraq that has just been blown to pieces.
