Looking to visit a club for first time soon and chosen quest as its not too far. Any hints or tips. Unsure if to go on own first time or take a play pal. Any suggestions?

We checked out Quest for the first time last wednesday.

It was quiet, more so than id have expected even for a wednesday, but the club itself was lovely. Well appointed, clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Couldnt ask any more from them really.

Cant speak too much of the clientele in general since there really werent that many there, but most seemed friendly enough. We got talking to a lovely couple, so much so that we actually ran out of time to play! Hopefully meeting up with them this week to remedy that though

Thank you...are staff mainly males or females and what is dress code within club? And facilities?

Quest is a semi-Dress Club, you are fine in the social area dressed in "smart casual" cloths, you will be required to dress down though to venture into any of the play areas.

Cal

Dress down? U mean a towel? Or just shorts? Any pool or jaccuzzi there?

From what we saw primarily male. Certainly it was 2 males behind the bar, one of which showed us round and seemed a nice sort of bloke.

Dress code is relatively lax, more of a "Just dont take the piss with trackies" level really. I went in black jeans with a T-shirt and a nice leather jacket. Nothing too fancy. Think L had a little black dress. Only real stipulation that is a little unusual is the rule of absolutely no clothes in the play areas. Towels or lingerie only.

Nothing wrong with this of course, just different from my usual club, where outdoors can be worn anywhere other than the wet rooms.

Facilities -

Well theres a bar stocked with good soft drinks, very very well priced in fact for a club, a nice lounge which has clearly benefited from a good refurb fairly recently, pool table and a big central table with stools. Could probably do with more sofas id say since I feel the layout could possibly be slightly adverse to social interactions but its all well done.

Hot tub with jacuzzi jets which fits around 8, sauna, steam room was out of order but im given to understand it will be repaired as soon as possible.

Small dungeon, from what i can see its BYO Floggers and such since they have benches and other installations but no play toys, some places do offer these, Quest may but they arent on display, i didnt ask since thats not our kink.

A variety of play rooms, one dark room, some glory hole rooms, a couple of lockable playrooms and a big couples playroom called the "cinema" room.

That room has a big TV playing adult films, and there are a few other plasma displays in the lounge showing the same.

You can tell a lot of thought has been put into it, and certainly as a building its the best club ive been to.

But i couldnt comment on how good a club it is overall until id seen it on a busy night.

Thank you...are you allowed to take own alcohol and relax in bar area. If I went solo for first time I would assume first hour be spent in bar area observing and interacting there.

Yeah they are fine for you to bring your own alcohol.

I suppose as for the structure of your night thats down to what you and your prospective partners decide, no rules really.

Generally in my experience in other clubs that has been the structure, loads of social followed by play at the end, in fact at Club F it is frustrating that most of the play actually seems to occur after the club has closed between those who have booked accomodation. All social before that.

For me/us, generally we go, have a couple of drinks at the bar, hopefully get chatting to some people but we're both a little on the shy side socially so we dont always find someone for that. Thankfully our new friends on wednesday were far more gregarious than us and made the approach then enjoy the hot tub and sauna for a little while and maybe play after if the mood feels right.

Towel or shorts, some even take dressing gowns (how sexy is that , take some sandles too though, the toilet floor gets pretty grim after a couple of hours..
