I never block anyone without having a good reason...

Just because you don't know what it is, doesn't mean it's been done for no reason at all

We block everyone who sends us a message who isn't what we're looking for. Saves them wasting their time messaging again and us having to spout the 'thanks for messaging but you're not what we're looking for" yet again. I also tend to block local profiles who are always posting photos in the local newsfeed that I find off putting.

A number of reasons. I've not yet experienced it, but I've read warnings on pages 'I will block if ......' Etc.

Your name may begin with a letter they think is unlucky. There very perticular about who they want to receive messages from. They just could be an arse hole.

Unless they tell you, you will never know and will lose sleep over it.

I block anyone that I decline, so that it saves them the bother of messaging me again. Also people that have sent rude messages or who are just a montage of penis photographs according to their profile. And those who are disrepectful in their profile (for example"where are all the whores" was one guys total profile wordage.... Not for me....)

I think some people block those that are a little too close to home, some want fab to stay a certain distance from their door step.

We use the block facility a lot. For many different reasons some of which others might find hard to understand.

But there is always a reason.

there are always reasons for blocking, it doesnt always mean folks dont like you, often its to prevent messages a week or so later from people you have already felt not compatable with you lol

I suspect that there IS a reason, as outlined above. Loads of people I've never interacted with at all have blocked me - I'm guessing they either don't like what I post in the forums, don't like my profile, I'm not what they're looking for, or whatever ...

I don't know WHY I've been blocked but I'm pretty sure they will have their own reasons why they have!
