age limit

Well just had a nice message off a very nice 18 year old couple, asking to meet as one of them has a hot tub at home.

This meets with our current status about hot tubs lol.

We replied that we where very flattered that they would like to meet us but they where too young for us.

Our question is what would you have done in the same situation, taking into account our ages.

If I were 18 and saw that you had a minimum age of 35 I wouldn't have messaged you in the first place.

For you both 18 is too young so you were well within your rights to respond how you did and did so polity by the seems of it.

We all have preferences and age is one of them.

They are barely adults and meeting a 18 year old just wouldn't sit right with me

That's not to say I don't think 18 year olds should be on here or I don't think other older people should meet them my opinion are for me only

Being the same age as you, we totally agree with the steps you took - although it IS a personal preference thing and know there ARE others out there who would play with others much younger/older than themselves.

For us though, we'd find it difficult to play with anyone in the same age range as our oldest kids.

I'd also question 18 year olds actually having a hot tub (not that it's impossible) but would wonder if it existed, or was possibly their parents etc, which could lead to no end of other problems. Or perhaps I'm just a little over cautious.

well they did say it was the boyfriends parents hot tub and we could meet when the parents where out ha ha.

And in answer to a previous question they did look very nice lol

I'm only 27 and I wouldn't even meet an 18 year old as I feel they're too young for me!

I agree that 18 is dreadfully young. Even if an 18 year old has had a boatload of sexual experience, they are still teenagers! These are people whose minds have barely started to develop. True, there are always exceptions....many young adults are very mature for their age, but many are not.

Granted, the youngsters move a lot faster these days than when I was that age. Oral sex to most teenagers is no bigger a deal than saying "Hello" and shaking hands.

For my wife and I, even most people in their 20s are too young. Physically, they may look fantastic, but mentally, there is NO connection whatsoever.

That's my 2 cents worth.

Imagine all naked in the tub and his parents coming home early

That would be embarrassing explain to people your age why your fucking their son in their hot tub

I wouldn't play with anyone younger than 23 as I then allow for them to be lying by a couple of years! But 18 for me is too young x

Take it as a huge compliment that you can still turn youngsters heads but as others have stated, 18 year olds have barely discovered their own sexuality so to involve others at that age is a step too far

not that we had any doubt whatsoever it would seem the general consensus is we did the right thing,

We did discuss age limits when we set the profile up and the lower limit of 35 was what we felt most comfortable with. x

I think a nice polite message back is perfect. 18 to me is too young to be swinging as a couple, our preference is set for a reason.

But then I know both of us at 18 were out sleeping with people we met in bars etc. So if they as a couple feel ready to do it there is nothing to stop them, but its not for us.

What i would have done in the same situation is what you did, but that is because you have that preference. but for us age is just a number, if they were a nice couple and you were all attracted to each other then i wouldn't worry about it. we have had plenty of people we met at clubs who were horrified to find out my age after we played (I started attending clubs at 21) but they were happy to play with me before then... so i find it to be an arbitrary number than in reality means nothing when attraction and conversation is involved.

But as always everyone is allowed their preferences. if those are yours then i see no reason why given the same circumstances i wouldn't do the same.

The reason we set that limit is because we have a son of 23 and a son of 29, so it would not sit right playing with couples in that age range or even younger.

Age is just a number but when you have kids of your own of a similar age you tend to think differently.

Each to their own and we respect everyone's choice.
