Have always liked the idea of getting one/some, and love seeing them on others when done well. Have never been able to come up with any ideas I like enough to permanently mark myself with though, and also don't (in my opinion) have the right body type to make one look good enough.

If ever I manage to come up with an idea for one that I think would look good on me though, I'd be straight down the nearest decent tattooist (once I'd checked them out to be sure their work was of a sufficient quality).

I think they are a mixture of all sorts

I took bit and bobs of what I liked and slung them together on bits of paper, walked to the shop with my bits of paper and said see what you can so with that and let the tattooist do the hard work
