Do people not find that good grammar and a thank you or no thanks when chatting goes a long way to help building a friendship with people on here as there seems to be a certain amount of idiots and rude people

If you're saying people do not reply to your messages op then read the site rules as a no reply means no thanks.

Like real life same personality mix with Fab users just amplified by keyboard courage. And no reply or unread means move on

well, you would think so wouldn't you? but this is fab, so most of the normal rules don't apply...

having said that, I always reply with a 'no thanks' to 'fancy a fuck' messages

I doubt people are bothered about building friendships with people they say no thanks to

When "chatting" then manners we feel are important, good grammar and spelling helps to avoid misunderstanding so is more helpfull than important.

If you are talking about responding to an initial message then site rules are no reply means not interested, beyond that it's down to the individual.

For example we always reply when someone messages us and is seemingly everything we are looking for and they have attached a face pic, if there isn't an attraction though we'll still say no thanks as we feel it's polite.

However if we get a message with no face pic and they aren't what we're looking for then we'll ignore them.

The way we see it our profile is our first line of communication, if you contact us after ignoring our profile then we feel justified in ignoring your first communication with us.

Us too, but we feel that's more likely to happen with a prince than a frog, so we use the profile and messaging system to out the frogs. In relation to the post topic, we ignore the ribbits they obviously don't speak our language

Hi, my profile clearly says (please don't be offended if you do not receive a reply) as I'm not interested. This saves the rigmarole of switching messages back & forth ect..

I agree politeness & well wrote (typed) messages are much more appealing. Also it's in my nature to be kind even if I get a 'non polite' messsage iam still nice.

Must be the sub in me

The women and couples on here get loads of messages from guys and just don't have the time to reply to them all. I am a nice polite gentleman, and I understand how this site works. If people don't reply they are not being unpolite. Just move on lol

Polite is nice however on fab to some guys it's either a sign to them to think we want to meet them or them to be abusive when we reply no thanks so actually a non reply is probably more polite

No reply means they're not looking for your friendship so why be false in replying assume the message was read to begin with
