So here's the thing. I met a guy, really nice social meet, flirted, chatted for ages, nice kiss as he leaves and left feeling really positive. We message to say do we want verification's...I reply saying yes...nice to get feedback and he does too. I write a great veri...from the heart. Three days later, I receive no feedback yet he has displayed my verification. I had noticed he had been on-line at least 8 times! My message to him about feedback was left unread. So I blocked him! Just felt he wasn't keen. Was that wrong of me??? Thoughts appreciated xx

I have mixed feelings about this. My personal opinion is that, if they don't verify you, they didn't enjoy the meet. However no-one is entitled to anything on here, verifications included.

I doubt I would have blocked him though. I'd just forget about him and move on to the next guy.

Seems a bit unfair to display your veri to him yet not give one back .. but ultimately it's their prerogative and much like sending a face pic on Face Pic Friday people should only send if they're prepared not to get one back.

The standard advice to anyone male or female in these situations is to move on and not worry about it - plenty more people on here looking to meet

Thanks for all the advice; I feel a bit of a shit as really don't block many people, not my style but I'm fed up of being so nice and being made to feel like I'm nothing. I know it's a sex site, but I do have feelings. x

This is probably not the Ops problem but filters can prevent verifications from coming through.

If you felt like blocking him why would you be wrong?

We had something similar. Did a veri but got nothing back (no veri or mail) from the guy even though we thought we'd all had a good time. Easier as a couple to just move on, but it still felt rude! We blocked and moved on as well

We have had this after what was a good meet. They wrote saying how much they enjoyed themselves and asked if we would verify them. Which we did. Then nothing. We wrote after a few days and it wasn't opened. So we put it down to experience. There are some strange folk on here lol

I was asked for a verification which I said I'd do. I needed time to think about what to put because basically other than turn up on time I hadn't really got much to say. He messaged me 5 times going on about it. I blocked him instead

Some people read too much into this verification lark. Had a recent good meet who then spat her dummy out as I didn't verify her straight away after, I don't live on this place and had been away for the weekend but had planned to verify on my return

Cut a long story short I blocked her because of the grief, she blocked me and now she's UNLOS.

Wife had a meet. She sent him a good veri, he said he'd do one back next day. No veri came. Five days later he finally sent it, was a really good one too. Some people take time getting round to it.

I've had this before where it has just taken the guy a while to veri but sometimes I'm like that...I take longer writing veris for meets that were amazing I like to do them justice! So if I were you I'd unblock like the lady above said and just say it was a mistake x

It was a social meet, as after care seems as important to you as the actual time you spent together then just try to move on and tell yourself it's best this happened now than after a 'proper' meet.

When it comes to Fab you don't have the ability to edit veris once you leave them, it's understandable you feel let down but let it go, you've taken the veri off public view and lesson learnt, wait to see if you're expectations of treatment are met in future before leaving one.

I agree. I have to say that we've gone well over a week before posting some verifications, but that is only because we want to make sure we get the wording just perfect.

Generally the longer we leave it, the better our experience has been. If we get a good meet from anyone, we want to be 110% sure the verification we post reflects that.
