How many repeat, sneaky peeks at your profile by the same couple/person would motivate you to message them? Would you message them?

Depends if they have an interesting profile, I might say hello. If they appear to be boring gits, I block them.

We had a few stalkers....one guy looked at our profile every 10 mins. Don't know how he got any work done pmsl x

I'm of the opinion that if someone wanted to message having looked frequently then they would. I don't think I'd notice someone repeatedly looking as i rarely check to see.

If someone wants to look then that's fine, if they want to chat they will message so we don't contact people just because they've looked at our profile.

There's a few profiles I come back to tbh.

I hope they don't see it as creepy or "stalking" - it's just a single guy who appreciates a nice photo and profile! I know I don't "fit the bill" in certain ways e.g. age, distance, do wouldn't dream of contacting them.

I did worry with one couple from near London that they'd think I'd cropped up on their "Looked at Me" a bit (I rarely use stealth mode), so I sent a message saying "Look, I hope you don't mind me looking occasionally. I'm never going to ask to meet because I'm not what you're after. I'm just a sad old git and I like your tasteful, classy photos". .

They were fine with it and have had nice chats since

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm not suggesting it's 'creepy' or 'stalker-ish'. I feel that, in it's own way, it's rather complimentary. I was wondering if it might be a device whereby shy people who are wary of 'winking', sending an unsolicited 'friend invite' or the first message are saying 'We look at your profile so often because we are interested'. Or is that wishful thinking on my part?

Can only speak personally, but if someone looks, but there's no message, I take that to mean they weren't interested enough.

Depends if we're interested in them or not. If people look loads of times and we wouldn't meet them, we block them to cut out the need to turn them down if they do eventually approach us.

Until then, we assume they're not really interested and leave it.

It's also why we browse in stealth mode...we then don't get the 'saw you looked at us' messages...

I rarely have any free time, and wouldn't make contact unless i knew i would be available. looking isn't time wasting, it is just wishful thinking. Winking when you know you aren't available is.

However, the profiles that interest me do tend to draw me back.

There is one lady up north that really interests me, but i'm three years too young to message her. I have liked her photos a few times in the hope she might notice me and message, however, likes only last 24hrs, and she only comes on every 3-4 days, so she may not have even seen me. Thems the breaks. She has an age bracket for a reason though, so can't complain, just hope.

P.s. i don't like her photos every time i come on, maybe once every couple of months....

You use to be able to see if they had looked whilst you were in hiding but the site changed it a few years back.

i leave them to it. i have no filters on so they can message me if they want to.

was funny once when my sister was here and she saw the same guy in her looked at me, i looked at my looked at me and he was in mine a few times as well.
