I've had a few local meets and bump into them quite regularly, we'll chat and pass the time of day and everything is normal but I've also had unwanted local attention which led me to block everyone (except for those I've met) in my area... plus a few more.

Seen people we know, friends associates from the past including a past friend who has us both on FB.

It was a bit freaky, they wanted a female for a third person in their marriage, to take on day trips with them and sleep in their bed. Within an hour of taking the plunge and signing up to this web site we got a friend request from a well respected member in our local area.

Upon accepting the friend request we very shocked to discover it was actually one of our close neihbours lol.

Not a great start but we still chat and he is a good neighbour, I thought the decent thing to do would be to pop round and let him know who we were, clear the air and be on equal footing.

In hindsight maybe the better idea would have been to block and stay quiet but we still say hi when we see each other although it did provoke a slight set back for us as it unerved the wife.

As it was an old photo, and not a particularly good one, I didn't recognise him. Silly me, sent him a clear and new face pic and he wrote back 'I know you'. To as lot of people it's not about shame, some people in certain jobs could lose them if it can't out that they were swingers. It shouldn't matter what a person does in private away from their work but some employers are prudes

See our other thread about public photos. We accept that recognition can be a positive thing with certain people but in the main we have found that most of the general public are two faced and this can have a negative influence on our public life.

Most of the general public are not on here....other swingers are...hence no problem.

My vanilla friends and work colleagues have no issues with it either...
