If a man (bi or straight) likes to wear sexy underwear for his own pleasure (but will wear it on a meet if asked) would he be classed as a crossdresser?

Im interested to know because I do wear stockings, panties and suspenders when I'm alone (not everyday) and have worn hold ups on a meet at the request of the lady.

Hard to catagorise this, their are TS, TV, CD....all seem to be the same to me sometimes. I wear stockings and suspenders (and tights commando) on occasions, consider this as CD as I don't do wig and make up. Still describe what I'm wearing (or not) just for clarity sake though.

I quite frequently wear my girlfriend's underwear when we're playing together, because she thinks I look cute in it, and because we incorporate it into our Mistress/slave dynamic.

I also have a selection of women's underwear that I wear day-to-day, because I find it more comfortable and less constricting than a lot of the stuff actually made for men.

However, I wouldn't class myself as a Transvestite or Crossdresser, and would consider it as false representation if I did so.

Without a doubt this is crossdressing; the very definition is someone who wears clothing normally associated exclusively with the opposite sex.

I think it is a lot more nuanced and complex than it may first appear and it is probably very easy for people to have or make a quick judgement. Ultimately people are free to choose whether it is something that turns them on when they see it or does nothing for them. And that's fine. We don't find everyone we look at attractive. Everyone will have different things that they like, that attract them, that arouse them etc and although there will be broad consensus on some things (Sandra Bullock is a beautiful woman for example) there will still be a number of people that will not agree as it's not quite their thing. [In this particular example though, I can only assume that there's something wrong with them. ]

With fem undergarments on men I maintain that it is possible for a man to feel aroused and enjoy the erotic and sensual feel of them for purely sexual gratification reasons without it being considered cross dressing. I know, it is a fine line, but I think it exists. And even then, if you take cross dressing, it covers a wide spectrum of engagement from just underwear through the whole nine yards of underwear, clothes, wigs, make up, shoes etc. Maybe less a case of judging a book by the cover and engage in a conversation about what it is that they like about it. As a few have hinted at so far on this thread it may even add a new dimension to sexy play.

There's also something just a bit intriguing about seeing a cock in panties - usually because they don't quite fit. Probably just a legacy of tranny fantasies - who knows!
