do scars or bruises put you off?

Quick question for all you swingers. If someone has a large scar or bruises would it put you off a physical meet with them? The reason I ask is I recently burnt myself badly down my side I'm now healed but have a large discoloured area it looks a bit like bruising but feel I need to get back in to clubs and don't want it to put people off.

The only time it would put me off is if it was still quite fresh and sore as I would worry about unintentionally hurting you. Older scars don't bother me at all, in fact they can be quite interesting

I'm anaemic and bruise like a bitch! I'm always apologising for the state of my shins and thighs where I've had a bump.

I have surgical scars but no one ever mentioned them and vice versa when I have a meet and notice scars.

Agreed though obviously BDSM or rough sex inflicted bruising would put me off.

Below my thighs both my legs were wiped out and I have the scars to show it. Will have two more massive scars by the end of the year around my ankles.

I have learned to rock the shit out of wearing shorts now and give 0 fucks what people think.

I therefore care nothing about bruises or scars on other people.

My skin is beyond fucked right now. My arms and legs are unrecognisable as me. Apparently it wouldn't bother anyone on here I've shown pictures to yet.

But I'm too nervous to go to a club like this (I look contagious - although I'm not) and I haven't had any meets for a while.

I have significant scars to the whole of my lower back from surgical reconstruction. I've been left with lumps, bumps and thick scars. Mine bother me more than they bother others. Initially I wouldn't use jacuzzis at clubs and wore lingerie that covered it. But now thanks to Jay and friends we've met, staff we've chatted to at the club we regularly use I'm way more confident and of the mindset they are part of who I am and yes they tell a story. I wear more revealing lingerie that shows these off now and have never had any negative comments xx

I have some fairly large scars on one arm from having repairs done etc, they go from wrist to elbow.

240 stitches in total.

No-one has ever even noticed, let alone said anything.

The sort of people that aren't accepting of you as a whole aren't the people to hang around or make friends with.

I know a gymnast who fell off a trampoline as a kid and has a scar that runs from somwhere in the middle to her widows peak and it directs her hair slightly... But it enhances her look more than hinders it...

Scars don't bother us at all, bruising could worry us a little but it would depend where it is and only from a perspective of not wanting to hurt the person further.

Wow thanks I didn't expect such a positive response I have had issues accepting them but Hopefully I can now get over this and get back to having fun. I do partake in bdsm but can't at the level I'm used to due to skin being fragile. I rarely have bruises on show from this tho. It's just my scaring from the burn it looks almost like bruising now with just a couple of bits of puckered skin. The hang up on it is all mine obviously

It's a great post. I sometimes have scars from spots on my thighs and butt as I take a while to heal at times. I was self conscious about them too but it's never been a problem.

An ex boyfriend had a badly disfigured face on one side after going through a window screen and having over a 100 stitches and the old ones that werent clean but the old ones that were all lumpy and bumpy. Took me about a month before i stopped noticing them

I don't think they could be off putting. As has been said, if they still look sore and a little inflamed, it would be more of a concern to not cause further pain. I see my scars as a sign I've emerged from a difficult period that little bit tougher.

And someone on here mentioned going through a window... I did similar...

Went through a windscreen at 80mph... Landed on my head and broke my shoulder, so I had a nice soft landing...

And like I said most as gone now, but I sometimes touch one of the scars on my head and it makes me remember how lucky I am...

I have scars on my cheek from a dog attack. I'm not sure how I would feel if someone else turned me down for a meet because of them. I've had reconstruction surgery twice and microdermabrasion to smooth them out so they are not so viable anymore

Healed scars would be no issue at all. A perfect body would be intimidating to be honest.

Bruising and I would be concerned for your wellbeing to be honest, depending on where they are. I think most nice people would and should be. But if they weren't from anything unconsentual then that would be okay too.

If I saw anyone covered in bruises I would be concerned. I guess I have seen a lot of the shittier side of life so my reflex action would be to check they were okay.

I wouldn't be judgemental, totally the opposite. It would be a relief to know they weren't anything sinister.

Surely it isn't unreasonable though, if bdsm hadn't been discussed with the other person wouldn't bruising make you concerned that everything is okay?

It does depend on where the bruising is as I often have some bruising to my upper arms

I was really starting to get self conscious about the scars/bruises I get on my cock every six months after visiting the doctor. I was unwilling to go to a club. But after reading all these positive response. I'm going to get myself to a club and play with all of you with my bruised up cock

The reason I ask is I recently burnt myself badly down my side I'm now healed but have a large discoloured area it looks a bit like bruising but feel I need to get back in to clubs and don't want it to put people off.

I like scars and bruises. They tell a story and make the person more interesting. All things being equal, I suspect I might choose the lady with scars to have sex with rather than one without.

So to become interesting i need to be scarred? I can't be the only woman who has gone through life without any??...unless chicken pox or BCG injection scars count....But i guess they aren't interesting enough??

Hope not......I was playing football 3 weeks back.

Split my ear open, took huge chunk of skin off my right knee, broke my right elbow and sprained and bruised my wrist.

I really should pack it in at my age!

Me Naughty has a 4" scar on my left side of the face adding to a new one on top of my head... My hubby is a pile of scars bent bones and more due to sport, military service and more (stabbed in Zurich by drug user for wallet)... But think scars are part of your person; at the beginning hide my face scar until he said its' part of you and makes you interesting...

I'm a clumsy bugger so I'm covered in scars as I keep falling over. Also had a few fatty lypomas around my body so have scars where those are removed

I can barely have sex with my husband because of the scars down my arms and legs right now. I see them out of the corner of my eye and it makes me feel shit about myself.

I've had people stare at me in swimming pools when I'm there with my kids. I've had kids ask "What's wrong with that lady?".

I almost had a panic attack when I ended up in a pub in a short sleeved top recently and had nothing to cover my arms with. I could feel the states from everyone.

I even had a guy I'd had several socials with not stop staring at my legs (covered in thick hold ups) while we fucked because he could see the red patches all over my legs.

Sorry but what everyone says on this thread about not noticing is bollocks. People DO notice this stuff and if it's bad enough, yes that's all they are thinking about when they see you and first meet you.

People with skin like mine have been thrown out of restaurants and swimming pools because it "upsets the other patrons" enough times.

It's horrible to live with. And to know you're stuck with it. People commit suicide over it. It's not something to be bloody jealous of. Switch your life for mine and see how much fun you have (oh and did I mention mine are very painful?).

Been chatting to a guy for a while. He asked if I had any kids. I can't because of a few issues and had to have an operation to have a cyst the size of a grapefruit and the ovary it was attached to removed. Obviously they couldn't do this by keyhole so I ended up with quite a big scar across my front which looked like a C section scar. Meet was going well til I got naked and the guy clapped eyes on it. Accused me of lying about having no kids and started swearing and shouting saying he didn't want to get involved with someone who had any. Was quite a traumatic experience and made me quite conscious of it.

Actually i was challenging the bizarre views from those saying that without scars people are uninteresting and haven't lived. I wasn't wishing i had scars i just think that theirs is a strange view to have.

I had heart surgery in January got a 12" scar down my front.

Wife has gotten used to it now but I am facing my first summer and will have to take my too off

All because I cut myself at work and didn't clean it up!!!!!!!

I have a number of scars...it's never even crossed my mind to mention them to be honest, and I have never had anyone complain about them. I'd say maybe 5% have commented, and 100% of those were interested in how I got the scars.

As for bruises, mostly not a problem but if there are a few then questions start to be asked.

Thanks again guys I'm very self conscious but will be trying a club soon again to see how it goes. I showed my side to.a friend today who said its not that bad now but still visible so I might just stay in the jacuzzi and keep it hidden lol
