Hi,

I'm still new to all this (yes - I signed up a year ago, long story, not really that interesting) and noticed that a lot of people insist on only meeting if you shave down below.

While I don't particularly enjoy finding a stray hair between my teeth, it's not something I'd really thought about before.

I'm not against doing it, but I haven't got a clue where to start - all off or just a trim? scissors? razor (scary)? hair trimmers (buzzy)? How quickly does it grow back?

I vote for just a close trim, with nail scissors. The totally plucked 'last frozen turkey on the shelves at Christmas' is not a good look

I would say use a cutthroat but one slip and you can say good by to your manhood

no really i use on of wet razors gillette fusion gives good close shave but moisturiser afterwards thats stops you itching

I either scissor trim around the area and shave the balls, or just have the whole lot waxed - it's not as painful as you think.

When you first start shaving/trimming it'll itch due to the hairs having a sharp end from the cut. Waxing grows back with the hair tips being blunt, which doesn't itch (as it's growing from the root again). You'll get used to it either way.

Personally, I prefer a woman who keeps on top of it, so it's only fair to return the favour.

Trimmed area above ur cock but smooth balls is the way to go lol first shave is always the most trickest as your taking it all of but once you have shave everyday in the shower keeps you smooth at all times and stops you from getting the dreaded itch as that only happens with regrowth.

As already said, trim the hair above your dick using nail scissors or some other small scissors... no need to remove it completely.

Then shave your sack to get that nice and smooth. Take your time and you'll be fine. I actually find using an old razor works better than a new one, as you're less likely to cut yourself with a used one.

Another thing I find works well is to stand with one foot either on the side of the bath or on the loo. I've always found it's more difficult to shave your nads if both legs are at the same level.

Lastly, I find it easier to shave it in an upward motion rather than a downward one.

You'll notice that it feels great for a couple of days afterwards, although it might get a little bit itchy if you're not used to it. Once you've started doing it though you'll carry on.

Well I used to shave and leave a little bit above my cock trimmed down. However I messed it up one day and thought fuck it - off the lot went LOL. I actually prefer it this way although it takes getting used too.

It might take a bit getting used to but as other have rightly said, do it in the shower so the hairs soften, I use the wilkinson sword quattro, never cut myself once. I'd personally reccommend shaving with the grain, against it will be really smooth but more likely to have irritation when it grows back.

I use a Wilkinson Sword razor for the testicles and base of my cock. My trimmer doesn't have a guard on it so I use a nit comb and trim it in a similar method that guys would recognise from the barbers.

I think unless you're going to go hairless all over shaving above your cock but leaving other body hair looks rediculious, seen it in some porn films and it just makes me laugh.

only started shaving when i joined fab, but its 2nd nature now. i tend to shave 2 or 3 times a week and that seems to work as i never get any kind of itch from regrowth. god ive even started shaving my armpits as one girl i met said her biggest turn off was when she met a guy once with unde arm hair matted with deoderant yuk !
