we are both fans of tattoos on women. We do both have tattoos though so that may be why. But it's your body and you do as you please! I know I didn't have my tattoos to please anyone else. Shawry

I'm not sure I'd call them classy, but then classy isn't something everyone aspires to be, funky, interesting, beautiful, artistic, individual yes.

I've got plans for many more tattoos and classy isn't the word I'll be looking for to describe them, they are for me because I am just me!

They are so sexy on a woman, I myself don't have any ink. But when I see a woman tattoos, I genuinely think they look incredible.

I think they look awful.

Two of my daughters have tattoos and take pleasure in showing them off to me and playfully mock me saying "all those years of Johnson's baby lotion and olive oil massaged into our skin wasted hey mum".

I wasn't impressed paying an additional £500 for a lace bolero to cover her tattoos as she didn't want them to spoil her wedding pictures!

Mostly people start a conversation with us about my Ink...They use it as an ice breaker. Maybe, it was because ,I said no to someone. They felt they could be rude and abusive.

Depends on the location of said tattoo and the quality of the artwork, and that applies to both men and women.

I have a few, but would love a great big piece on my back or my thigh, but lack of funds prevents this.

I'm not a fan of tattoo's on the face.

On another thread someone slagged my tattoos off saying it's such a shame you get ones when d*unk with no meaning. Well I was not d*unk just young and they do have meaning to me and that's all that matters.

I want more I need to loose a bit more weight and save up.

There's a lady at the gym I go to that looks all serious and is very stand off'ish in fact hardly talks to anyone in the body pump class but one day when she was doing a bending exercise infront of me I noticed that the bottom of her trousers had lifted to reveal a vine style tattoo around one ankle; a few lessons later, the bottom of her top lifted and I could see that the tattoo went all the way up her leg and at least around her waist - she's not so boring after all and I think it gives a clue as to what lies beneath.

Why was it wasted? They still have nice skin, just some of it is more colourful than the rest of it.

And if buying the bolero for your daughters wedding was that much of an issue you should have made her pay for it. She chose to have tattoos, if she didn't want them to show she should pay tool cover them up.

I love my ink. I don't have that much. I don't think I'm cool enough to pull off massive pieces (although I do have two fairly large ones) like full sleeves for example. But I love them on other women.

My tattoos have been a good conversation starter, they've also been proved useful for people approaching us at chams as they've recognised my tatts.

It's just one of those things that some people will like and others won't. If someone didn't want to meet us because of my tattoos then that is fine as there'll be someone else out there that will like them and want to meet us.

Sassy

North of Derby

Personally, what constitutes 'classy', is how a person conducts themselves.

The word itself is just a throw back to the class system, a nod to belonging to the high class elite and aristocracy.

Which, when discussing tattoos knowing some of the history of this art form comes in handy, as

The Prince of Wales had one in 1860 and made them popular and sought after in 'high' society and is credited as starting the first 'celebrity' fad of tattooing

So, attributing having tattoos with having 'no class ', makes me view those that hold this opinion, as misinformed individuals and uncultured with this particular subject

Tattooing, like all art, is subjective. and having an opinion on liking or not liking is a separate thing to it having a baring on a person's class.

A small discrete pretty one is OK. The full back arm or leg , horrendous.

we both have a lot of tattoos, I don't think they're 'classy'

We have good paying jobs and live in a nice house, I cook/bake/clean like a classy lady, but fuck like a slut and have a dirty mouth. So i wouldn't class myself as 'classy' lol

I don't think mine are trampy tho. I do know a lot of people with tattoos that are chavy,

I think it depends how you dress/carry yourself. If they look sexy or not X

It's a personal preference like blonde/brunette/slim/curvy.

Tats just don't do anything for me

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

I've no tattoos, I've always been of the opinion that there's nothing that beats the natural beauty of someone..

Their body their choice , your body op your choice, I'm guessing he said tramp stamp after you'd said no

Some are very good and I was surprised how expensive. On men I find the bands on the arms funny as every other muppet has them

For me tattoos are not attractive, classy, hot or anything remotely positive.
