Here I am just leaving the chip shop and some guy is chasing me around for chips. Won't leave me alone. If it's not the seagulls, it's the hubby .... any other women have this experience?

No, its still there. Best chips I had recently, pie and mash shop in Bexley .... hand cut and cooked as mum used to .... worth the trip.

We usually go Wimpy or the chip shop/restaurant just up the road on the corner. It's unheard of to have hand cut chips now; we had a cafe near us that did and served pie and mash too.

The one in Bexley was amazing, Mr swore by it and I totally agree ..chips and mushy peas for me, no pie and mash.

Catthorpe

In my teenage years I was sitting in the bus shelter waiting for the bus with my bag of chips opened from top when this pensioner sat beside me, next I know he's almost elbow deep in my chips when I wasn't looking. Cheeky fecker! I share your pain OP

Him
