Winking stalkers

We wonder whether other Fabbers have had this same experience Over the past 9 months or so we have received 3 lots of winks from the same couple. Despite positive responses from us and follow up messages to them we have heard nothing back.

We are wondering whether they are trying to get at private information.

We have now blocked them.

If you have had this same experience how did you deal with it?

Don't delete their wink then they can't wink you again. I think that's how it works anyway

Probably just one of them winking and the other isnt interested and deletes your message. Weve had it too. I dont know what personal information they could get from you inless you volunteer it without being asked. If you're never going to meet them, no harm in blocking. After all, it saves time

WE were wondering whether they were trying to get some response from us which would reveal private info. Maybe we are getting paranoid.

We have also been warned about accepting friendship requests out of the blue as this can allow others to access your private photos if they have been highlighted as for "Friends only".

we get several friend requests a day and if we've never had any mail or met the person sending it, just instantly block. Thanks for the tip on not deleting winks, as we generally do!

Too much winking makes you go blind.

I'll get my coat.

I got the same thing from a couple of couples. They winked repeatedly without any message. I messaged them trying to start a conversation to which they don't reply to and finally they stop.

Weird but hey, what can you do. It's not like we're here because we're "normal"

I've just had a wink this morning. From a 26 yr old woman, over 100 miles away, not looking for single men.

I would think "fake profile" but she has several verifications over a period of time.

Don't think it's worth my further contact tho....too far away (tho the pics look ok)

Winks ate a waste of time..,

I just leave them..

My wink list must be almost as long as my friend request list and block list

Quite common for winks to mean different things to different folks. Some see it as a 'nice profile but that's it' some see it as a way of introduction.

If you don't want any contact with them just block them. Very easy to do.
