Beards.. Love, loathe, indifferent?

Good evening one and all!

This one's mainly aimed at the ladies, but gents feel free to pile in!

Ive had a beard for a while now. I've seen a number of posts with 'no beards' etc, which I getbas it's a preference like anything, but what's the general consensus currently? As they are more 'normal' now, are they more accepted?

For reference mine's super soft, well conditioned and doesn't scratch lol

I like beards but that don't mean I like all beards and find all men with them attractive

It depends on the guy and the beard but if the guy has the right look I like them

Good to know its not a blanket ban lol. I'd guess it's like saying 'I like redheads' but if you don't like the person it's attached to its a no.

There is no consensus, that's the point of it. I have a beard only because I'm too lazy to shave and because I look like a child without it. I find it annoying because it's itchy and I don't want to go out of my way to tender to it and make it soft. So for me I guess, beard looks OK but its also a nuisance.

Personally I (fem) really don't like them for several reasons first being the scratchiness I know you say yours is soft but clits are extremely sensitive another reason is hygiene yuck I just look at a beard and think dirty don't ask why I just do sorry that must sound awful but I am only being honest the other reason is (now this you're going to think is really weird) I feel if someone has a beard it's a bit like talking to someone who has their hand over their mouth when they talk it feels like they are hiding something about their personality and as anyone will tell you that knows me I am the most up front person ever and like to socialise/play with others that are up front. Guess I'm going to get a hell of a backlash from this. Men with beards are just as nice as men without beards but for the reasons above they really aren't my thing sorry all nice beardy men out there xx

That's the kind of beard I don't like, not being rude but if you've only grow it because your to lazy to shave and you can't be bothered to tender it I have images now of it being all over grown and scruffy

What I meant by that, is that I don't use conditioners or shampoos or anything like that. I do trim it however whenever it starts to irritate me too much, or when the hairs start to stand out .

I could send you a picture if you want, it really doesn't look that bad.

I think there's something to growing it because you want to, neater, more 'looked after' shaped even... Something to get you last that looking like a hobo stage! Can PM a pic if anyone cares lol

i prefer the brian cranston type of beard but robert has a pretty cool one also and one like that is nice.

Can't stand them personally. Even the softer ones make my face itch. Some look like they just can't be arsed to shave. Seen a few with food attached to them. And the well groomed goatee type always puts me in mind of film baddies of yesteryear.

I've got a good 5-7 inches of beard, it is different with every woman tbh.

The amount of times ladies have said "I don't like it" then after a few drinks can't stop playing with it hahH.

Especially those ladies who try and plait it, you know who you are.

I grew my beard out of laziness...however I work in the Legal Profession so it cant make me look like a hobo. I also find it hides at least one of my chins which is a bonus

I think the 'trend' has run its course but I had nine before and I will have it long after

I like the shorter variety. Mr Lust keeps his very well, always trimmed and tidy. He shaved it off completely about 6 months ago and although it was nice to feel his smooth face at first I yearned to have my 'hairy guy' back again! Such a sexy look

Women do that alot... I also have long, hair and often found ribbons, plaits, braids, all sorts in it heh.
