It's my birthday in a weeks time and I'm going to be 48. After chatting with friends and the consensus being I should start lieing about my age. (Something I will never do I might add)

So does your age make a difference and stop you from getting meets or doesn't it matter in the slightest?

I don't think anyone should lie about their age just to meet someone, I could probably change mine to 25 - 30 and no one would be any the wiser,

I don't think my age is stopping me meeting anyone unless they are looking for someone over 40,

If they don't want to meet you for your looks/personality why should you meet them,

I doesnt matter in your case, i would have pegged you for early 30s. Most men just dont want to feel like they are with a much older woman for obvious reasons.

My age and a million other things probably stops me getting meets. If you're not someone's cup of tea then there's nothing you can do about that. I feel it's always best to be yourself and be as truthful as possible. That just sits better on my conscience.

Personally, age doesn't matter one jot to me. It's honestly never something I ever give a single thought too.

I'd say age makes a difference, but only in a sense of me going near my parents age would be a little odd. Plenty of attractive people of all ages really.

Age doesn't mean that much on Fabs if you're a woman imo, I've known men up their upper age limit to meet the attractive older woman

If you're a guy / couple (where the M is older ) then yes I think it can sometimes impede your broader appeal.

We did go to a meet once,and were almost turned away.

The guy said we were obviously much younger,than the ages we claimed to be on our profile.

We were a bit chuffed,even though the ages on our profile were correct.

We still shagged them right enough.

I know my answer isn't really relevant to the question,

Age really is just a number. As you get older - you go out of some age ranges, but into others. We both enjoy the ages we are. We've got more comfortable in our own skin with age.

It's not hypocrisy like some people prefer a certain size or shape I prefer younger men. We all have our likes and dislikes. I wasn't worrying as you succinctly put it "not getting fucked at 48".

I'm finding it hard to believe that your almost 48. You look great! We haven't found many people outside our age range that we'd both be happy to play with. There's no real hard and fast rule though, so long as attraction is there age is just a number.

For us personally the actual number doesn't matter, but how old (or young) someone looks and acts that effects their attractiveness. I'll often have Anita tell me "He looks older than my dad".

I'm 36 and have been with woman from 18 to 49 year of age.

My opinion, age is just a number and its more about experience; connection and having great chemistry with someone.

Been with older woman with loads of energy and younger woman with skills of a much experienced player.

Well I do find you hypocritical, but, to go back to your original question of can someone's age stop them from getting meets? The answer is obviously yes. You have an age limit, ergo, anyone over that limit won't be able to contact or meet you.

I think it makes a difference for blokes not so much for the ladies. I know from my friends on the site that you girls can get hundreds of messages in a day and this isn't meant derogatory but blokes think with their dicks so not really choosy and the girls often want a connection or a fit bloke . I'm definitely not 6 foot 4 and full of muscle but I like to av a laf and (cliché time lol ) beauty is in the eye of the beholder or beerholder as the case may be. with the muscles comes often arrogance rudeness and no respect . also think about this then 2 blokes ...1 fit us fuck and knows it ( cocky bastard lol ) the other ordinary looking some might say hit a few branches falling out of the ugly tree and he knows that he ain't no oilpainting.......I.. It seems to be hit & miss with me, so many females have said your too young, but change their mind later on for whatever reason and some have just adamantly stuck to their preference.

A lot of women/couples have 40 as there upper age? So yes being 45 and not fibbing about my age stops me getting meets. But that's ok each to there own and we're all allowed to look for what we want

think it makes a difference for blokes not so much for the ladies. I know from my friends on the site that you girls can get hundreds of messages in a day and this isn't meant derogatory but blokes think with their dicks so not really choosy and the girls often want a connection or a fit bloke . I'm definitely not 6 foot 4 and full of muscle but I like to av a laf and (cliché time lol ) beauty is in the eye of the beholder or beerholder as the case may be. with the muscles comes often arrogance rudeness and no respect . also think about this then 2 blokes ...1 fit us fuck and knows it ( cocky bastard lol ) the other ordinary looking some might say hit a few branches falling out of the ugly tree and he knows that he ain't no oilpainting.......I.. I'm 52 in a few weeks.. and Yes it's likely to have stopped me getting meets...in the past and likely in the future. as I'm not going to lie there's nothing I can do about it so I don't worry over things that are out of my control..

Oh God don't lie about your age ... you can no more help how old you are than how tall you are after all. Personally I think honesty in all things is really important and I'd be pretty angry if I found out someone had fed me a pointless lie, whatever it was. I'm 51 and admit to getting down sometimes at the latest wrinkle etc but still wouldn't lie. For those who think their chances of meets are being restricted by age limits on here, I'd recommend trying clubs ... where your attraction is judged on chemistry, conversation, humour, looks and so on, ie who you *are* and not what's on your birth certificate. Most people wouldn't enjoy your company then suddenly run off when you reveal your age, even if their age limit on here is lower. Works for us anyway

My philosophy is I'd rather look good for 47 than ropey for 37 - ie it's just a number! Just means I have to keep an eye on the gym/diet - and one day, eventually, I might have to consider behaving like a grown-up!

I find that the older you are, the more people want to meet as a 20 year old male, I find that most don't wish to meet, mainly due to having kids my age or not fancying men my age. So being older is very helpful if you are looking for meets however, I have noticed that people in the forums think I am older until they notice my age

because its not the same as meeting someone in the flesh, on cam they could be putting on an act, also same thing for social meets, you may think they are nice but you don't really know for sure what they are like until you have sex with them, because we are mostly on here to meet people for sex.
