Im doing a sexy photoshoot at the mo what pics look nice or are erotic that look pleasing to the eye

My photo shoot is classy, erotic no close up of boob or lady bits either

As i dont do those kind of shots

What pics get the thumb s up that you like to see..as it gives me an idea

I take my own pics with a camera tripod and a self timer on my canera an ive been into photography 11 tyears

Just as a photographer an an ameteur model lol what pics do it for you

well lit black and white shots can be v classy but surely as someone who is into photography you must know what works for you...and what works on here

well lit black and white shots can be v classy but surely as someone who is into photography you must know what works for you...and what works on here

People tend to like variety. If i see a profile full of pics in the same or similar poses i get bored. Black and white photos are very forgiving and flatter anyone. But all black and white can be dull imo....unless the subject is heavenly to look at.

I fabbed a photo once that I wanted to link to here but I can't find it!! I'll try to describe it.

She wore a floral floaty summer dress with heels. She squatted down and the view was from ground level looking at her side on. Nothing above her waist was visible in the frame. Her knickers were around her ankles.

I have fabbed a few images with knickers at half mast. They don't show any thing explicit nor are they black and white. What they all have in common is a sense of willingness, wanting, waiting. They hint at a tantalising desire on her part and an invitation to explore further. She is almost saying "I'm ready, all you have to do is finish the removal of my last vestiges of chastity".

Plus i wouldn't slate your pics good standard but strange pics you have maybe cause ive lost weight people sometimes get jealous sorry there samey as you say...an in the pics you are bigger size than me maybe thas it jealously nothing wrong with my pics

Weather mine are or not to criticise someones work ie pictures i sunk a lot of hard work into those photo's the outfits posses pic taking, editing i take all my own photos an some effort ive put in

I never destroy anyones photos by criticism an its up to the individuals an its not nice to publicically on a forum critise an make a comment oh there samey if you want to say they are personally email me on my profile it can be soul destroying to someone with a negative comment ie your pics are samey how about a positive comment whats wrong with that no you have to put a negative comment

Have you tried playing about with other light sources rather than just relying on the light that's in the room. Shadows and highlights can really make pictures more dramatic and can be used to highlight areas and conceal bits you're less happy with. Especially with black and white shots.

But the most important thing is that you like what you've done irrespective of what other people think of them.

But try not to be defensive of people who are offering genuinely constructive criticism. They are only trying to help you improve as you've expressed an interest in getting better at what you take.

Im improving my photography all the time

An learning even though i have 11 years experience of digital photography

An editing photos i use photoshop, lighthroom etc

I havnt experimented with light sources

As yet..always something to work on

Always new stuff to learn with photography

I ignore the negative comments as there silly. Im only an ameteur photographer im not a professional photographer. We all make mistakes in photography an the important thing you have fun whilst doing a photoshoot once the fun goes out of photography it looses the interest

My photography is fun, i had fun doing the photoshoot an enjoyed taking the photos, putting on different outfits lingerie.an thats what's it about fun

Same as the forum this post was supposed to be fun an light hearted an asking ideas what people thought on this site what photos they like to see etc

The trouble is some people spolit it by getting all serious an took the fun out of the forum post

Thats the trouble with some people they get too setious an its not fun then

Well I'm sure you'll have great fun!

As suggested above I think your main area of improvement is going to be the use of light.

Experiment taking pictures of an egg. Eggshell reacts in a very similar way to human skin. Use light from the side etc. Rotate your camera and your model relative to the light and see how definition changes.

That should open a new world of interesting images.

I haven't read any nasty comments from anyone about your pictures. You asked what people thought would be good and the comment you got back was the current ones were "samey" which I would take to mean some variety is their suggestions to your OP.

You then go on to comment on the weight of the person who answered your question. I would suggest that was uncalled for.

You go on to repeat that you've been doing this for 11 years and that you're not a pro. The only difference between being an amateur and a pro is money, not skill or talent.

Take the criticism and use it to improve, don't slag off the people that offered it and cherry pick the replies and only choose to accept the positive ones.

Wow more critism i shall ignore the silly coments an try the eggshell tip an try that experiment with my dslr nikon d3200 24mp camera as i have 2 camera s i have a a cannon compact camera too

If you think people are being nasty, try posting your pictures on an amateur photography forum. You'll get genuine feedback and not just nice words from single guys looking for their next shag.

But I warn you there will be far fewer positive responses. However it seems you didn't want honest answers, but simply flattery.

Nope im clearly pointing out its a bit of fun the photos of mine an i had fun doing them thats the point fun have a laugh an the same time improve my photography skills as my photography is a hobby not to be taken seriously

Plus ive had a few nice tips which i will try with my camera ah experiment with light an try sonething differeny with an egg an see how i go

Plus my photography takes my mind of a health problem i have i have gall stones an sometines can be very poorly with it.,so if photography takes my mind of things its a good thing

It is a great hobby and as you say, enjoying it should always be the reason for doing it and trying to improve. Take the criticism and use it to improve.

If you don't want to change what you do, that's fine too but if that's the case don't ask for suggestions.

Try getting hold of a good light or decent sized reflector. Take the same shot in the same pose but keep changing the position of the light source and look at the affect that has on the shot.

Ive taken New up to date pics as ive lost weight an dont want to deceive guys an have photos 10 years out of date etc

It reflects how iam now my hair colour an size etc an shows a date stamp i do a photo shoot every few months to update my photos

It is a good hobby to have photography

I wont change what i do every photographer is different with their own unique style.an signiture with their photography my photos are unique to me an individual

I will try with the light experiment i will try what you have suggested an see if the photos are different with a light source etc an see what in pact it has on the shot good tip

Saying pics are samey isn't an insult or nasty, it is saying they look much the same as your others ( I don't know if they do as I have not looked )

Your reaction to that comment is unnecessary though. If you only want people to give you compliments about your pics then maybe you should write that in your OP....of course there is no requirement for everyone to comply if you did.

Ours are by no means professional but we've had some good feedback on ours. None are graphic and quite a few of them are our versions of erotic photography that we've seen elsewhere online.

Tania and Jason have some great images. They've explored lighting and ambitious framing.

Exploration of depth of field is probably the only area which is unexplored fully.

The magic comes when the subject, the lighting, the concept and the execution are all perfect.

A little subtle tweaking in Lightroom can just make that final nudge to amazing.

Be under no illusions tho we take 100s of images on a shoot and the hit rate is probably less than 10%.

The iconic and amazing images come every now and again when everything just falls into place.

Honestly - if you enjoy it - the process or preparing, taking and editing images - that's really all that matters.

If you're looking for critique, or to improve, this really isn't the place. But being brutally honest, if you posted these anywhere else asking for critique you probably wouldn't like what you hear.

No I am not jealous of you and yes I am a bigger size than you, but that had absolutely nothing to do with my comment.

I wasn't being nasty. You photos are more or less the same pose, there is nothing in them that jumps out to catch the imagination. They are samey and forgettable.

It doesn't matter what camera you use either. It doesn't matter whether it's Nikon or Canon or indeed Boots own brand, you need imagination and creativity to produce something different.

Same here....mine aren't anywhere near as widely admired as yours, but i like them. And that's why i take them. I enjoy the entire process. I've received pointers and criticism along the way and I'm puzzled by the Op's reaction really. Whilst i like my pics there is always room for improvement and listening to others is a way of doing that.

Exactly. I enjoy the process of deciding how and where to pose and in what. Essentially I take stuff I like and I enjoy the challenge of making a half decent pic (if I can).

There's plenty of brilliant pics on here that are overlooked and some that get far too much attention!

Hear. Hear! You have some nice photos. Yes phone can be good and I sometimes use it too. However get a decent camera, get learning about photography and you'll get even more wow photos! You have great body so show it off even more!

I do have a dusty SLR and I'm always open to learning new things if I have the time. Love using natural light. Thank you for the advice I had a good look at your pics too

I do love the mixture of black and white with a hint of colour (some expertise required for those ones!) likewise normal colour ones are great too!
