According to research only 10% of females actually have Skenes glands (sometimes called the female prostate) that are said to be responsible for gushing and squirting known as the female ejaculation. The rest simply do not have the anatomy.

Yet most of the gushers and squirters in the world seem to be on this site if I read the forums/profiles correctly. What are the chances of that?

I am sure somebody will piss on you eventually....

pmsl, or was it a squirt?!

That really interesting, to know, who did that research? Crazy that we can develop so differently.

I do gush/squirt, but cant control it, ive often wondered where it comes from, sometimes theres so much, does that gland store it or just make it?

What an excellent question. Come and sit at the front of the class..... there have been loads of studies about what is called the female ejaculation and it hasn't been sold to me, sorry.

Okay think of a gland - any gland - I'll choose the salivary glands. Working in the background coming to our aid to help us masticate our food. We have no control of them as they are parasympathetic functions and part of the autonomic nervous system which in simple terms means they work subconsciously at all times particularly when at rest.

We have three (parotid, sublingual and submandibular) in our mouths for digestion but all work on same principal. They secrete saliva - the emphasis on secrete. Not squirting gushing or flooding out our mouths. BUT we have all experienced the squirting of saliva out of our mouths (embarassingly so) if we accidentally put pressure on this gland in the bottom of our mouths (sublingual) its a wee teeny weeny squirt. Not enough to write home about. It doesn't soak anyone or gush out. If we press on same area almost immediately - does it do same thing? No because it cannot store saliva it forms and seeps out to moisten mouths and aid mastication of food. The gland does not store very much saliva at one go it secretes steadily and we swallow the excess. We'd sharp be off to gp if we were squirting spit down our throats.

Now think of a store for copious amounts of bodily fluids to squirt out of you. I can think of the urinary bladder and the gall bladder in women. Urinary - self explanatory and you can see the result of emptying it. Gall bladder a wee organ that collects bile from the bile duct leading from the liver - also a digestive aid. If the gall bladder is removed the bile leaves the duct directly into the stomach. I'm giving basic biology lesson stuff here. So glands secrete continuously. Bladders store accumulated fluids for excretion. In order to empty the urinary bladders you need a muscle. A muscle you are in control of most of your life except pre potty training and in cases of incontinence that can occur in adult life.

So skenes glands (if you're one of the 10% said to have them) have, can only exist to secrete and lubricate the vagina. There is no tube from the g spot to the skenes glands. They are tiny pinpricks either side of the urethra and next to the Bartholin glands (that also lubricate the vagina and most women have these or we'd be fucked - or not) there are NO holding chambers for these secretions - you would have a bulge the size of your urinary bladder behind these pinpricks. If I had a lump of that size on my biff Id be heading to a & e. If it could propel copious amounts of liquid I'd be gutted.Remember glands are parasympathetic so secrete without help from me or the help of some bloke rubbing my g spot. Who needs that amount of liquid in their pants? Ok its only stimulated during massage of the g spot according to studies and those who are able to squirt or gush. Fair comment all you men with the 'skill' of stimulating that. If you are therefore stimulating it to gush do you notice a huge bladder like swelling ready to be forcefully pushed out at climax as you massage down there? Erm no. Glands seep. They don't store huge amounts. Anything coming out as a gush is from the bladder - you control your bladder so you make it gush out.

So thats what I think. Learn about your body and know what it does. Don't read about women being able to gush in a female ejaculation that is explained to be coming from the skenes glands without thinking it through logically, then start mimicking that theory by pissing to simulate secretions from these glands and expect me to believe it. Its anatomically not possible. The glands are either side of the single exit of the urethra if you gushed they would come out in two streams like a spitting cobra.

Would anyone who says their squirting doesn't come from the bladder be willing to have a cathetar inserted to isolate the bladder function then see if they can squirt from these skenes glands with such force as urine leaving the bladder? I doubt it.

This is my opinion based on anatomy. there will be variables my mind is not that closed.

You gush, you enjoy gushing I don't know where your gush comes from. I do know where it doesn't come from. I have not seen anything to make me change my mind. Sorry and all that.

A p.s. I have more vaginal wetness at some times than others but again it just secretes during intercourse and not as a result of some gushing climax so yes vaginal lubrication can vary in amounts and I think the body recognises if you are dry and compensates with each stroke of the penis or we'd be ripped to shreds.

wow thanks for that!

However.... on occasion my man has collected the liquid i gush in his cupped hands,he has seen it coming out close up and he i both know its not coming from my urethra and is quite different to piss in taste, colour and texture.I totally agree that i cant be storing it cos as you said i would feel it

so my body must be making it very quickly! For me its about a particular depth and angle and usually happens about minute or so before orgasm, but can happen without resulting in orgasm.

Im so interested in this i would have a catheter if a researcher asked me and see if still happens as im convinced it would!

"

Excellent biology lesson , that clears up that subject for me !"

Ah well if it was balanced enough a viewpoint then perhaps its all you need to know. But my opinion is just that - I will still read articles on the subject of gushing and real function of these skenes glands and why only some women have them. I still remain unconvinced these skenes can bypass the parasympathetic nervous system via stimulation of the g spot. If they can then they are perhaps not glands and rely on external stimulation. So what was Alexander Skene doing naming them such if his research is accurate as it goes against all well documented evidence of how that system works for all glands.

Our friend says her partner has collected gush and its not from her urethra who am I to argue?

So gash gush or piss it is still there and she likes the sensation and what it brings to her sex life. As many others say. A few too many for such a small sample of the population who have skenes glands.

Well from my uninformed experience , having only touched on the subject before i've never met a woman who can gush and those with which the subject has arisen the belief of all has been its a myth but maybe thats just down to the persons involved , who am i to say whats what , i'm a bloke ! , but in terms of biology that seemed to me to be realistic but like i say , what do i know .

Gawd not the gushing post again! LOL! Joke!!!!

Squirting/gushing is not pee, I would not taste my own pee or even consider drinking it! It's not always about the G Spot being stroked in a certain way but that's the best way of doing it until you know how to let go.

I don't know the medical reasoning behind it and quite frankly don't care! It's one of the best feelings ever!

I have learnt how to make myself squirt on my own and I've made another girly almost squirt, I made the mistake of not explaining what the feeling was she was experiencing! D'oh! Needless to say she had to rush to the toilet only to find out she couldn't pee...

it a sex expert who can aparently teach any female who would like to learn.. if learn is the right word here ......... she stated it basically finding the g spot which in some women is high up inside and in other females very low down...... it actually showed females trying out her ideas on the dvd, all three had never experienced but two did esaily and the other one did with in a few months of practicing...

I have achieved gushing on my own but it offered no particular orgasmic feeling, so really not bothered. I enjoy the orgasm that good sex provides but don't "cum" in any percievable quantity. Do have prolonged orgasms sometimes though.

I cum by stimulating my g spot either with penetration usually positioning myself on top and taking control, helps if the partner knows how to move too and have massive orgasms even hallucinate regularly, also hubby knows just how to make me cum by stimulating my g spot with his fingers only and I do get past the pee sensation point of course, but as deep as the orgasm is and no matter howm uch I am teased I cum long deep and amazingly but never Squirt... I do however gush a little from time to time, and no its not pee .Plus we have fucked a few women that squirt and I guarantee thats not pee it tastes different and feels looks different too. x

Has it been scientifically proven that there is such a thing as a G spot?

Don’t understand anyone thats saying if it was pee I wouldn’t drink it, but then say it tastes different, how would you know it tastes different then? and surely the taste of pee will change depending on what you've been drinking at different times?

As a mother and a pet owner I'm very familiar with the smell of pee... I've also experienced water sports, squirting and gushing is nowhere near the same! Consistency, smell, taste (as a guess due to the smell) is nothing like it! And pee may change colour and odour but not the same way as squirting does, HTH!

Interesting subject...

My misses is a gusher, the fluid is not the same as typical urine. Seems to me that gush fluid is very similar to vaginal lube only not as viscous.

So here's a question/idea... Is vaginal lube secreted from the vagina like a sponge or does it secret from a tube/opening? If so then maybe it gets 'backed-up' and then releases in one go? Any thoughts anyone?

Some guys say they have never met a woman who can, some guys say most women can.... hm, do the math... some guys have learned the skill and some havent. Personally, I know the right guys

ps. it isnt pee but does actually contain a small amount of urine (as does guys ejaculation too) - actually saw a documentary once on this subject)

Absolute nonsense. Not all women have the ability to squirt however, when a women that squirts cums, it definitely isn't urine

Bringing up an old thread I know, but on the answer to where lube comes from: it's the Bartholin glands! I'm sure the medical people will back that up as well, nothing to do with gushing or spurting!

its always going to be a controversial subject this one.

Theres definitely a difference between squirting and gushing.

How doyou explain squirting loads then afterwards emptying a full bladder?
